I came to the salon about a week before Mother’s Day and I was hoping to get a silver or dark silver dye with a tint of blue in it and they told me that because my hair was colored a very dark ruby red that I would not be able to get that color, which I was fine with, they said that they could do a silver with a tint of violet instead. The only thing that I like about getting my hair done here it was the fact that the lady that was doing my hair did not talk to me a whole lot. I am not a very talkative person I do not like Smalltalk so I did enjoy that. But the vibe that she was giving me was that she just was not in the mood to do my hair at all. When she was washing my hair she was being a little rough, I don’t know if you’re supposed to be because of the bleach but she was clawing at my scalp a lot and that did hurt a little. When she did cut my hair there was a lot of small hair that she did miss that should have been trimmed and so now I have a long hair at the top of my head and then around it I have some hair that should’ve been buzzed off and it now looks like a weird little spikes throughout my hair. She bleached my hair about twice and then she cut my hair and she said that I was all set… She did not mention anything about coming back to do a third round of bleach or anything like that, just handed my receipt to go pay up at the front. I have spoken to other hairstylists and they all told me that I was completely ripped off by the store. I paid almost $200 for the hair that that I received, including the tip. Not very happy with this salon and I do not plan on ever going back again. I feel like I should get some sort of compensation because of this. Even though I’m not a very talkative person it should’ve been explain to me that I needed to come back if that was the case but instead I was just told that I was all set. Not sure how to add a photo to this post but now my hair is a weird yellow color with a little...
Read moreWorst Ulta!!!! Manager (Renee?) stole $14 from me. Not sure why they have someone managing a store who doesn’t know what the eff she’s doing? I used almost all of my points on an order, drove an hour away to exchange one of the items, ASKED THE GIRL AS SOON AS I WALKED IN to make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding what I read on the Ulta website, and left the item with her while I went to get the item I was exchanging it with. The new item was more and I asked it I would be able to pay the difference she said yes. Then she tried telling me I would get 40 cents and was basically paying full price on the other item. Why would I just give Ulta an item that I was charged $28 for and be happy with 40 cents in return. How does that make any sense?? I pulled my order up, once again showed how much I was charged and explained that I was just trying to exchange since I used my points. If the one original item was $28 and my new item was $50ish, than I should only have to pay the difference between those two. Manager basically said I’d have to return it and wait a day to get my rewards back and that would be the only way I could use those reward points towards the item I was looking to exchange it with. So I returned the item and now today I only got the equivalent of $14 back in rewards points. To be fair, I don’t think there was any malicious intent on the managers part, I just don’t think she knows what she’s doing and as a result it’s screwing...
Read moreI went to the salon at the end of July 2024 to start the process of going blonde from a very warm brown and a haircut. My hair was almost down to my butt. I asked to go as blonde as we could without making my hair break off. She told me she was the blonde specialist at this location and a teacher at one of the beauty schools in town. I thought yes! Someone who knows what they’re doing. I was so excited… that quickly faded.
I was supposed to have a longer version of the Jennifer Aniston cut and go as blonde as we could. I ended up with patchy highlights and a straight across haircut that was shorter than I requested and uneven in and face framing that turned into bangs. I was devastated walking out of that salon.
The stylist seemed very busy during our appointment, but she spent soooo much time on her Apple Watch. She would have my hair in the hand with foil and bleach, the bleach comb in the other hand and stopping to look and read her watch and text people. As she was blow drying my hair, she says, “I think you’re going to like this so much, you might not want to go lighter…” I hated it so much, I’ve spent more time and money getting it fixed somewhere else. I won’t give the name of the stylist, I’ll just say she...
