I want to take a moment to show appreciation for the new Key Holder in Training, K2, at Roses.
During a recent visit, I came in looking for under-the-bed storage bins and was excited to find some marked at $6.99âa great deal, or so I thought. However, when I reached the register, they rang up as $12.99âdouble the price I expected. A manager was called, and I showed them where I had seen the $6.99 price.
It turned out the bins were in what's called a âflex place,â meaning they didnât have a designated spot or price tag. The price I saw was for another item that was correctly shelved above them. While I understand things like this happen, as a customer, I reasonably assumed the price tag applied to the items directly in front of it.
At first, I was told only one bin could be honored at the $6.99 price. I explained that I felt the store should honor the price on all six bins since the misplacement wasnât my fault. This could have escalated quickly, but K2 stepped in and truly turned the situation around.
She remained calm, respectful, and professional the entire time. K2 explained that the store is in a transition phase with staffing and organization, and she took the time to help me understand what happened. She calmly communicated with the assistant managerâwho was starting to become visibly frustratedâand helped de-escalate the situation completely.
After consulting with their general manager, K2 returned to explain the pricing situation again in a clear and understanding way. Most importantly, she acknowledged my perspective as a customer and helped find a solution that made sense for both sides. Because of her approach, I left feeling heard, respected, and valued.
K2 not only upheld store policy and revenue goals, but she did so with grace and empathy. It was my first time at this location, and thanks to her, it wonât be my last. Iâm more than happy to be patient as the store gets better organized, and I sincerely appreciate K2 for ensuring that my experience ended on a positive note.
Thank you, K2âyou are a true example of excellent customer...
Read moreI came in right before closing. I had five minutes I went straight to where I had to be got one shirt, one pair of pants scrubs for my job. She starts yelling that theyâre closed and I told her hang on maâam. I am trying to find a pair of pants that has a tag on it, she kept running her mouth and when I went to register, she told me 17.10 and my husband said hereâs $.10 for you to make it easier. She then kept running her mouth come out of the store saying she will remember my face and told me that I would like to do sexual pleasures to her , I do not know who this lady is but she is very rude. I would not recommend coming to the store at all. They are rude and inconsiderate as soon as she said they was closing all I was trying to do was get a pair of pants that had a tag on it for her . I also had two children with me so her vulgar nasty words. They got to hear also very unprofessional and very nasty and gross.    Read moreThe African American Manager that was working this afternoon needs to be fired! Anyone who can disrespect a police officer by angrily demanding that someone disregard an officers commands needs fired! My daughter and I were trying to get a close parking space to the store and we had a fender bender. The officer arrived and requested we move our vehicles close to the sidewalk while he finished writing his report. Yes it was the fire lane but we were not parking like to go in a store we were there for all of 3 minutes or so. The manager of Roses came out demanded the other car to move to a parking space and then angrily demanded I do the same. She said its illegal to park in a fire lane (DUH) I explained that was an officer behind my car in his car and he ordered us to move our cars here. She yelled then he is illegally parked too! You both can't park there! I told her, she could tell him that and when he tells me to move my vehicle I will!! As soon as the officer got out of his car she darted back in the doors and didn't come back out. Now that kind of power happy arrogant and narcissistic behavior has no business in the work place. That shows me just how this store is ran! I will make sure to let everyone I know exactly how disrespectful the management is and how apparently they have no respect for our men in blue! Such DISRESPECT! I will...
