I'd like to start off by saying I talked with Chris several times before I decided to take my teenager's phone to him to fix. He seemed like a nice guy, knowledgeable in iPhone repairs. The back glass was shattered and needing replacement and all other functions worked properly. My first choice is to always support small/local business before larger companies as I love to keep money within the community. We dropped the phone off with him. The two-hour quote turned into 31 hours because he broke the screen. The first time we picked it up, the power button wasn't responding. He told us that was normal and that Apple had updated it to work Siri. He said we'd need to shut down the phone via settings, to which we were unable to power the phone back on as the button wasn't functional. I let him know that wasn't right, and that he needed to fix it as it was working when I dropped it off with him. We picked it back up 30 minutes later. The power button functioned. The charging port functioned, so I paid him the labor total of $100. Then I realized we hadn't tested the volume buttons. They didn't work. He didn't glue the screen down either, resulting in the screen popping out mere minutes after pick-up and connections being lifted as he also didn't replace the metal plates that go back over them to hold the connections down (even though he put the screws back). The phone no longer powered on. I called to let him know this was unacceptable. He told me no problem he can fix it. I let him know I would need to take it to someone who knows what they're doing and requested a refund as he had now three chances to fix it. I just paid $155 total for him to turn my kid's phone into a paperweight. If I wanted that, I would have done it myself! š He sent a refund, but only for $75. I attempted to contact him the very next day and my calls went straight to voicemail. I called from my other kid's phone and it rang, implying he blocked me. MI Mobile has the phone now and is charging me $150 total that includes an OEM housing replacement and is fixing this mess. Hey, Chris, I'd really appreciate it if you made this right. I found the same aftermarket part you ordered for $12.90 on Amazon when you charged me $55 for it. I'm a pretty reasonable person and this shit just...

The first machine I took to him was frozen, unable to be accessed without a password, administrator and passwords lost. He unlocked the system, used his own Apple account to upgrade the iMac 3 operating systems, reinstalled the data that we were locked out of, and reset the computer to operate without a complicated password system. He resurrected a blocked gmail and outlook account from this machine and set the whole system up as if it were new, right out of the box. Absolutely 10 star work, above and beyond.
He is now working on my 4th Macintosh (swapping the dead battery from an old MacBook and backing up the data, transferring it to a new MacBook). Heās cleaning up the old Macintosh to my specs for donation with a new hard drive and memory. In all, heās upgrading the systems, and even with Migration Assistant (for those with a Mac Background), the new MacBook needed upgrades of software like Chrome and Firefox. Itās all done. Itās done like youād do it if only you knew how. We all tear our hair out here with terrible service, but Chris is the kind of guy who over performs by 100%. Can unequivocally recommend. (He also works on HP and non-Macs too. In fact he is doing a training session with a friend who has a new HP laptop). Oh yes, and heās transferring VHS tapes to DVD plus replacing a cracked...
