Amish Furniture Gallery — Local services in Geneva Township

In early January 2023, my girlfriend and I purchased 4 Hudson dining room chairs with two simple choices, chocolate stain for the legs and marshmallow color/fabric type. Over 2 months later (last week) I received a call that my chairs had arrived and they were ready to be picked up. I drove up to the store (50 minutes) to pick up the chairs, the hours online state that they are open until 8pm. When I arrived at 6:30 pm the store was closed and the hours posted on the window stated they closed at 6pm. The first issue is that they need to update their business hours online. A few days later I then made the trip to the store to get the chairs, upon arrival and inspection of the chairs it was very clear that the color of the chair legs was wrong (see picture). After waiting nearly 3 months the order was 50% wrong, these chairs were over $2,000 dollars. After speaking with James the sales rep the solutions we were offered were to receive a refund, use the wrong chairs (rent) while they remake them correctly (another 2/3months), or have somebody stain the legs in house (LOL). During the phone conversation James told my girlfriend to "be quiet", which is down right rude. We have repeatedly asked for the owner/manager to contact us but have had no luck. I unsure if the owner is okay with James talking to clients/customers this way, if he/they are then that tells you all you need to know. At this point we have repeatedly asked for the owner to contact us/work with us and that has not been arranged. If the owner wants to reach out to me I would love to continue working with this company as we have ordered items in the past. We do not want to work with someone, James, who told us...

What an absolutely wonderful store.Seconds after entering the store we were greeted very warmly by the store sales rep ,Linda who really knows her stuff.Too many times you enter a.store ask some.questions and you get the 1000 yard stare because even though they work for the store ,they really don't have a clue to what they're selling. Linda knew the answers to our questions about Amish furniture design and the furniture building process .Yes ,the furniture is built with love and attention to even the smallest detail ,not manufactured.The furniture is the best I've ever seen,if you like this style furniture.We love it and will be back for more. Styling is wonderful and the craftsmanship is just so professional ,but yet every piece in the store has a personality, because every piece is so individual.The grain of wood is so evident on every piece,you have to see this furniture,words cannot describe the absolute beauty.You will not be disappointed once you walk through...

This gallery is overwhelmingly stocked with beautiful handmade furniture. One could be confused by the bountiful assortment on display. The assistance we received from Sonia resulted in our order for a custom crafted table to match our existing pieces. She was able to meet our needs with the right style, wood, finish and size. We also received a personal card from Sonia thanking us for becoming Amish Furniture customers. All in all, our experience was well beyond our expectations. We even purchased two additional items we were not specifically there to shop for-- Tiffany style lamps that were displayed along with the furniture samples and were impossible to resist. We are looking forward to receiving our new table and will certainly return for items to go...
