Our first experience at this store was pleasant. First women to help advised we need to do all ordering online for custom suit so I advised my fiancé maybe we should go to the other stores to look around as I don’t trust us just ordering something random offline. Then before leaving a older gentleman approached us and asked what we were looking for. Walked us through the whole thing & did the whole online ordering for us. We were very pleased with his amount of knowledge and enthusiasm he had to help us. We purchased our suit through him and was very pleased walking out. We got a call that suit came in early and at pick up if it was small alterations we should be able to have them done at that time and leave with suit. We came to pick up the suit & a very young gentleman with braces asked what we needed. We advised we need to try suit on and get altered. First we tried on the suit, asked for a white shirt underneath to try on with as we wanted to see the whole effect and possibly buy the white shirt from them. He told us we needed to try the whole shirt on over the long sleeve shirt my fiancé was wearing…. How can you see if something fits if ur not gonna try it on the right way you will be wearing it on ur event date? He kept forcing us to try it on this way. Advised we were not going to do this, so we tried it on without under shirt. Advised this young man that this shirt he grabbed us was to big and we needed one size smaller. He straight up said to me “no, this is the right size, u don’t need another size”. I said wait what, I think this looks baggie I want to try another size. He said no it will be to small. I paused, looked back and said grab the other size so we can make our own judgment on if it’s “to small”. He rolled his eyes and grabbed the smaller size. The smaller size ended up being perfect size for my fiancé. Then he advises to tell us it will be three more weeks to get just the bottom of his pants altered… I told him when we called we were told it could be done today, he quickly jumped back at us saying no that’s not going to happen. We have home coming this week and won’t be able to get it done? My fiancé and I took a breathe looking at each other like we just purchased a very expensive suit from you guys & you want to tell me we have to wait three weeks for a small pants shorting alteration. We walked away without saying anything back to him. Walked up to the man who originally helped us on day one, older man who seems to be in charge. & was told they could definitely get this alteration done for us that day and we could be on our way. Overall I’m gonna give a 4stars because this older gentleman deserves it. However the younger guys working here seem to not know what they are doing & are super rude. Read moreUsed to shop here regularly and came back to get a suit fitted that I purchased online at menswearhouse.com. Fitting went well and everyone was very nice. Was told they could do my alterations in a week and paid $135 for the work. While glancing at other suits on my way out, I hear who I believe was the manager say is that the guy? He then walked up and says look, we can’t fulfill the promised timeline and could I take it somewhere else or wait an additional three weeks. This is after I’ve paid and have a slip with a promised time for pick up. He has a very rude demeanor, almost aggressive. I’m understanding of a 3 week timeline but no excuse to change it 10 minutes after I pay.
While I was being fitted I overheard a wedding tux rental that went bad. Another store sent the wrong color bow ties for three of the groomsmen. They were trying to call around to find a near store with the correct color, however imagine dealing with that anxiety on your wedding day. All someone needed to do was check the order properly when it was delivered, not the day of the wedding.
I do like mens wearhouse clothing but my last visit was enough to convince me to pay a little extra and find a more professional establishment. I did leave my suit there for the fitting, so unfortunately will need to go back one more time. If the manager for some odd reason makes it right I’ll...
Read moreAbsolutely worst experience & customer service. We had a wedding our family was standing up in & the bride cancelled the whole thing a month and half before we were supposed to go. I called to ask for a refund because we hadn’t even picked up the suits yet & Renee refused to help us or do anything. I kept being put on hold and finally after 30 minutes of waiting I asked for her name and the corporate number and she immediately put me on hold again. I called corporate and they told me the assistant claimed she misunderstood & thought the suits were already picked up which is a lie because she pulled up our accounts and knew the suits were there non the less they agreed to process the refund. It’s been over a week so I called to follow up. Renee assured me he processed the refund but then later told me he didn’t after looking at the account which is even more frustrating because she lied again. Told me the following day she would talk to him and call me back. Never did. They removed our names off the suits & haven’t processed our refunds. I had to contact cooperate again and they can see they never processed any refunds either. We will never come...
