I recently had the pleasure of coming into Christophers Fine Jewelry for a Charles Krypell Trunk Show. I have purchased from Charles in other cities 3 times. I adore him and owning his jewelry is an experience! This was an even more interesting adventure! I want to thank Deborah, my friend and sales associate with her help on Thursday, the day prior to his arrival of his 2 day show. I truly wanted a new piece and wanted to view the store before he came. All that Eye Candy can be a bit overwhelming when viewed together so coming in and seeing the store without him there first seemed smart! I wanted Morganite. Something truly special. My eye found a fabulous Bellarri Morganite and Diamond in rose gold ring. Deborah helped educate me on the piece and then I left. The next day I returned to see ALL of Charles Krypells fantastic collection! I viewed and tried on many Morganite and Diamond rings of his but my eye continued to go back to the Bellarri piece. For me what was amazing was ALL the main players were involved to help me make the best choice! Charles Krypell was happy I chose the ring that worked best for me. Chris and Deborah were excited for me that I too was happy with a choice that would carry great joy in my heart for years to come. I finally decided on the Bellarri piece of Christophers. I truly adore it! I genuinely want to thank each one of these amazing people for their help Thursday, Friday and Saturday! I ended up with an amazing ring and a new pendant that we are creating for a necklace that Al the jeweler is helping me with! This store truly makes your journey in an experience and you do walk away family! Come into Christophers! You will truly enjoy your time! Called to get pricing on a custom piece of jewelry that had been quoted by 5 different custom jewelers and Christopher's quoted $64K and not a single quote from 5 other notable jewelers was $35K and less. This for an apples to apples quote. Unless you want to get ripped off i would suggest to streer clear of this place. They told me if i could get the ring I wanted for that price to go get it. No worries Christopher's I will and hopefully all the Pawleys Island people and any others will go elsewhere as well. Come back to earth or manage your business better as the rest of us business owners do. Thank you for your response to the review but once again you tend to strike back when you are factually called out for your over pricing. You were provided adequate and specific diamonds relative to cut clarity and quality. Unfortunately as I have tried to support local businesses in our community as a resident for over 30 years. Your pricing is not in line with reputable jewelers providing equally if not better we workmanship than yourselves. Perhaps learning to accept appropriate critics and learn from them may enhance your lack of professionalism. I do understand listening to a critical review of your business is tough to digest, but drop your ego for a moment and realize you're overpriced for what you believe to be unparalleled quality. I spoke with the owner of the shop himself, Mr. Christopher months back. Considering he didn't know me yet and it was our 1st time to speak, he was still very warm and accommodating, he even told me to drop by. Which I did.. I visited their shop with my wife and daughter to check out the Rolex display. Lo and behold, while I wasn't able to meet Mr. Christopher at our 1st visit, I was greeted by his staff, a very charming and equally friendly lady named Ms. Deborah.

She was very helpful and patiently accommodated my requests of trying on the display they had to help me decide which ones I wanted to list for. Then she took down the references we discussed. Of all the ADs I've visited (both in the US and abroad), It was by far one of the BEST experiences I've ever had in a Rolex AD.. She even gave me a Rolex catalog and magazine for free so I can read about the watch brand I care about and love.

I was finally able to meet Mr. Christopher on the 2nd visit and he was also too kind and accommodating to let me see and try out their other displays. He didn't give any promises but I told him I am really hoping on adding a new piece to my small collection soon (hopefully in time for our 15th wedding Anniversary this September).

Super excellent customer experience, considering we haven't gotten anything yet from the shop (hoping to soon). Looking forward to seeing you again...
