This was honestly the worst experience I've had in a bar...EVER. When we walked in, there was no noticeable signage that tells you where to go if you want a table or to just sit at the bar. No big deal, we can ask and figure things out if needed. Sat at the bar for a while before we were even acknowledged by one of the girls working there. They seemed more concerned with getting other patrons to do shots with them. When we finally got an order placed, to say we were disappointed is an understatement. You'd get a better drink at an 18 and over club in Richmond back around 1996! I asked for an old fashioned with Makers, my wife asked for an Amaretto sour. Two relatively easy drinks. I mean, an old fashioned takes a little work...but nothing a bartender shouldn't be able to handle. I'm not sure what I got, but it had a lime...and may have been a margarita...with Makers at the bottom! The Amaretto sour was just as bad...barely a shots worth, and watered down. It was truly pathetic. To top it all off, the tab, for 2 drinks was nearly $20! The bartender never came back, asked if anything was wrong with the drink...which I clearly pushed across the bar. And they weren't busy...maybe 5 people on the bar. This is arguably the worst service, and easily the worst drinks I've ever had. Avoid this place at all costs. Maybe the beer is ok...but thenagain, that may be watered down too!

We drove 2 hours to hear the band they had booked. The Coal Cave Hollow Boys w/ guest Heather Alley (our daughter) playing fiddle and singing. Very talented bunch of young adults! We're glad we made the trip down to this unique Pub environment. We spent our time in the back courtyard since the band was playing on the back porch. Very nice seating area and fun spot with string lights throughout in the evening (great spot for a selfie with the better half). Great atmosphere along with friendly, helpful staff. I was a little bummed that they didn't have any Miller Lite. They normally carry it but the supplier had dropped the ball. Not a big deal, they had plenty of other choices. It looked like they carried a good selection of craft beers if that's your thing. No food is offered at this establishment except for popcorn, but you can order delivery from a local restaurant and they'll bring it right to your table. Inside was very inviting with a couple couch seating areas, clean restrooms and the A/C was working well! If we were locals to this area, we would probably stop in here quite a bit for the environment and live music.

Locally owned, this wonderful watering hole offers a great selection of beer, bourbon and some wine. UPDATE! Slainte Pub kitchen is now open and has some incredible food! I've sampled the majority of it, and you won't be disappointed no matter what you order. There are many areas throughout this beautifully restored building to share a drink both inside and out weather permitting. Outside there is a wonderful patio, canopied by trees and lights, and there is often live music on the porch. Upstairs you can play darts and other games with your friends, or just chill.

Every time I visit Georgetown my only request is that we spend an evening at the Pub. This historic building gives off such an old world vibe you are practically transported across the pond the moment you step inside. You'll find a cozy bar with a few stools perfect for meeting new friends at. They carry a decent beer and liquor selection and can whip up a few good cocktails. Upstairs there are darts and larger areas for hanging out, and there is a full on couch and lounge downstairs for you to enjoy. Out back is a beautiful courtyard where live music is often playing as you sit beneath the trees and food comes out via a covered window. Have a large party? No problem there is a back bar with multiple benches that can sit a decent sized wedding party. Overall if you are in the area you really must drop by. You will have good food well priced drinks and make some new friends every single...
