Long as one stays out of the politics Eagles are great, great social atmosphere w people our age...typically mid 30's to until you can't get in the door...patriotic to a certain degree...BUT... IF YOU AREN'T A YES MAN/WOMAN THE MANAGEMENT (AND FORMER MANAGEMENT...WHICH ARE THE OFFICERS, FROM MEN'S & WOMEN'S) AND THEIR CLIQUES WILL BURY YOU WITH THEIR LIES, BACK DOORING AND DOWNRIGHT REFUSAL TO RUN THE CLUB AS DIRECTED BY THE UPDATED 130 YR OLD CONSTITUTION & BY LAWS. The club was reminiscent of another fraternal club I used to belong to. We were there to honor a friends celebration of life. The place is nice and big. Plenty of room for such a gathering and more. Staff were pleasant and did not seem to mind all of the extra people on a Friday night. I saw they had a nice commercial kitchen with a really cool salad bar set up that could be used for anything and everything. Cool place. Might check out...

Only visited once so far and I'm not a member, at least not yet, but this aging facility is still very popular. Lots of social and charitable events. They have a bar, dance hall, and buffet style dining hall as well as a back patio and who knows what else. There are probably two or three events/meetings at any given time, so don't be shy about asking for help finding where you're...
