Five Below — Local services in Gilbert

The lady there was really rude. She just stood there with the price scanner and stared at me. I didn't understant what was going on because I always scanned my own items. So I asked if I was checking out or is she doing it for me. So she said I will do it. So I rolled my cart to her and she glared at me again. I asked what do you want me to do? She told me to put the rolling cart on the stand. So I did. She then again stares with a bad attitude, so I asked ok.. now what? Then she goes you stand there and bag the items. So I just stood there and held the bag open while she scanned the items. She then goes I guess we can do it that way. Like it was really hard for her to put the items in the bag where the bags are and needed me to help hold open the bag..

Do you need to hire more people to hold bags open so the rude employee can scan items and put it in the bag? She was 100% rude and lazy. If you can't interact and explain your policy of the only "weird" store (her words) that scans people's items, then you need better training. Especially with your attitude. I did not get her name but she worked there at 1 p.m. on a Thursday. Please get her the extra help because obviously she needs help holding bags. 😆 🤣 I'm surprised she didn't ask me to put the price scanner...

I don’t know what has happened to this store. It used to be friendly service with self check-out and no charge for bags. This time there was one person at the checkout and she was checking everybody out, causing a wait as well as .35 charge for a bag. When I looked at my receipt, there was an additional five cent charge, and when I asked the clerk what that was for she had no idea. Then I saw that it was supposed to be for a plastic bag when they had no plastic bags. So be prepared to pay $.40 per bag when you shop there. In addition, I think I was overcharged for slime because the shelf indicated one price and they charged the full five dollars. I will have to return to verify. Not a...

This is a great store they really have some nice products for great prices every time we've been the staff has been friendly and the shelves have been stocked the prices are fair and in some cases extremely Fair almost too good to be true LOL I can definitely see Five Below taking over if they continue with quality products at the prices they're offering this is a must...
