Let me start off by saying I'm a big Chipotle fan. I have been for years! Lately I've been ordering a lot of my Chipotle online to be delivered to me, and I'm continually unimpressed. Not sure why but the staff do not make the bowls or burritos the same as if you're standing right in front of them. I usually order burrito bowls but since the employees at Chipotle don't actually give double meat when I pay for it and aren't filling up the bowls like they do in store, I ordered a burrito today. It did not taste good. I had a chicken burrito with cauliflower rice, no beans, fajita veggies, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. Something tasted funky. For the past 4 hours my stomach has been turning and I felt like I had a lot of acid reflux in my throat. I finally felt the urge to throw up and all of my burrito came up from lunch. I feel loads better but not sure how many more times I'll be vomiting. Chipotle is the only thing I have eaten today. Just thought you corporate guys would like to know the quality standards just aren't there for online ordering. I know a lot of stores make the online orders in the back and not on the front lines. You should be making sure foods are properly cleaned, stored, and handled before serving to the general population. The store I ordered food from today was in Gilbert, AZ on the corner of Gilbert Rd and Germann. I'm calling you all out so you can make some proper adjustments! Side note, I'm also a DoorDasher and Chipotle is the only place I have to wait 15 min or more waiting for an online order to be made for a customer. That's super ridiculous, especially when other merchants do not take near as long. I've watched as the employees will help in-store customer only, instead of making the orders in order in which they come through the register. Those customers should also be a priority if you're going to make online ordering an option. The three most common stores I pick up for DoorDash are the Gilbert location I mentioned above, Chandler-Alma School and Germann, and Queen Creek- Rittenhouse and Ellsworth Loop. They all take a long time to make online orders! You're messing with our pay when you guys do that! I will not be accepting orders from Chipotle anymore because of this. It's happened...
Read moreMy husband and I would consider ourselves avid Chipotle goers. Of course we stopped going as often when carnitas was gone. Today we decided to go back and not only was the service not great but the food was terrible! Both my husband and I ordered carnitas (that's right, it's back. But not for the better!) And as we were ordering our food, all of the workers seemed to be in a rush (not sure why, as the line wasn't as long as it usually is on the weekends). They were completely skipping over entire sections (beans, rice, sauces, etc.) and not asking whether or not we wanted any. We would ask for specific things on our food and they would completely disregard it and pass on the food to the next employee, who would do the exact same thing. When the last employee in line (the ever important burrito wrapper) was up, they asked if my husband wanted lettuce, he spoke up louder and said a clear "No". They put the lettuce on anyway and sloppily wrapped up the burrito (as they had been doing with other customers before us).
However bad the service was, it did not come close to the disgusting food we were served. The carnitas meat tasted off, for starters. And after lifting the tacos I ordered to see a POOL of grease, it was clear that this was not the carnitas I knew and loved. The ridiculous amount of grease didn't just collect on the tin foil underneath the tacos, it also drenched your entire hands, mouth, face and clothes. I hadn't eaten all day, so I decided to try and stomach it... Bad idea. Not even two tacos in and I was feeling sick. That greasy mess of what they call "carnitas" did not sit well in my stomach.
Opt for Wendy's instead (like we did!). Far less greasy and...
Read moreCame to this location on Wednesday October 26 at 1 PM. Was completely shocked at how I was treated by one of the employees. She was the first person working the bar doing the meat rice and beans. She was not wearing a name badge. She was extremely rude and hurtful. It was very busy so I’m sure she was overwhelmed but I tried to be nice to her right away and was immediately greeted with complete coldness and harshness. It was embarrassing. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her I had more than one bowl to order. She huffed her breath multiple times when I didn’t immediately tell her what kind of beans and rice for each bowl. I have never been treated like this. It made me want to cry honestly. I used to work as a manager at Starbucks so I understand having to work under pressure and feeling overwhelmed but it’s never a reason to be rude to customers especially when they’re nice to you. I want to add a note that this was not the register girl that had pink hair and it was also not the girl with longer dark hair that was working mobile orders and the second half of the bar. They were both nice and pleasant. They both almost seemed like they were overcompensating because they knew that the girl in the beginning was being rude. I do you plan to come back to this location just to get her name and update this review...
