Mor Furniture for Less — Local services in Gilbert

Updated 8/23/25: I spoke with Brandon at the Gilbert store and he was able to remedy the situation. The Tempur-Pedic foundation is suitable to support the hybrid mattress and I was able to return the existing Sherwood and purchase the Tempur-Pedic and just pay the price difference.

I truly appreciate the customer service provided by Brandon and going above and beyond to remedy the original concern.

Update 8/20/25: The foundation recommended by the sales associate for a hybrid mattress is made of wooden slats with fabric. The wooden slats are spaced 9" and would not support a hybrid mattress from sagging. Wooden slats should be no more than 3" apart to support a hybrid mattress from sagging.

She pointed out a solid base that would support a hybrid mattress and suggested the Sherwood foundation. I asked if this would be similar to the one she showed me and she said yes. The one in the showroom had a solid foundation and did not comprise of wooden slats.

Turns out, the description of the Sherwood Black Laminate foundation indicates it supports a foam and coil mattress. A foam mattress is not the same as a hybrid mattress. I should have done my research instead of trusting the sales associate.

Me and my fiancée expected to buy a couch, but we didn’t expect Mor to be the first and last place we’d go to buy it! My fiancée won’t leave the couch now, and you can see how excited my dog is in the picture lol. Brandon helped us out and was very nice and attentive. I am also a salesman, and I appreciated how frequent he checked in with us in the big store without being pushy.

Pretty big selection to choose from and everything is very good quality! I feel like they have nice budget options along with some fancy choices, but getting the couch during the July 4th sale was definitely the move.

We ordered the couch, they said that it would be ready to be scheduled for delivery 3 weeks out, but it was ready in about one and a half weeks. Scheduling was super easy, and we even had to reschedule which was also very simple. Delivery was super smooth even to my second story apartment and the delivery guys were super nice and were in and out within about 10 minutes. You get a link via text to track your order and see where your driver is so there’s no surprises for delivery.

I’ve never purchased a new couch before and this was my first time, but if I ever need more furniture I will definitely be heading back here! Thanks again for great service and for making the process...
