This is my go to Sephora for when I need to stock up on my foundation and I have to say they have the absolute worst customer service. I have been using this location for atleast the last 3-4 years frequenting every 3 months or so and I have NEVER and I mean N E V E R been asked if I needed assistance, I have always had to find someone myself or just go without help. Today was the last straw for me. I was in the store for maybe 30 minutes trying to decide on a new high-end foundation to try since I'm no longer really liking my Marc Jacobs foundation (which is one of the brands that brought me to Sephora because ULTA does not carry Marc Jacobs.) and no one bothered AT ALL to even ask if I needed help or if I needed to be color matched despite the fact that several employees who weren't doing anything saw my struggle and watched me try to color match myself. I even made eye contact with one older Sephora employee (who I need to mention is ALWAYS just standing around the perfume and Dior make-up area doing absolutely nothing) several times and she would immediately dodge me when I would try to approach & I KNOW she overheard my struggle since she kept hovering over me - which I might add made me feel like she thought I was going to steal. Yet she immediately goes to help a woman that just walked through the door fully knowing I've been trying to get her help! After struggling for maybe 15 minutes I tried to find another employee but all the girls that were just standing around conveniently disappeared. I had enough and finally left, where I was finally acknowledged by an employee to have a good day and shop with them again eye roll. Well I went to ULTA where I was immediately greeted and assisted and have chosen a new foundation and I will be keeping my business with them and shopping a different Sephora location and/or online if needed. I truly feel like the lack of service at this location is due to prejudice. It shouldn't matter if I drop $1 or $1,000 customer service is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Sephora yesterday (8/9) to get the new rare perfume with my family. Soon as I walked through the doors no welcome but there was employees standing around taking near the door. And as soon as another group comes in they got a hello. Didnāt think much of it but I was circling the front for a min trying to find this product so I decided to ask for help. I seen two employees that were talking and I smiled but waited for a min before I was acknowledge. They asked can I help you and I asked if there was still this product in stock and they said yea up front. Kinda felt like I annoyed them. I said oh okay and one of them said here Iāll show you, but you can tell she didnāt want to show us. She literally walks me and my family to the front and says right there points, and walks away. Well I wanted to buy the product but I guess she had other things to do; then be nice and ask if I wanted to purchase it. There was no product available for sale on the floor but I was lucky to have this sweet worker come over and ask if we needed help. I said yea just trying to see if there are anymore of these. She said oh yea, they are locked up in the drawer. I was happy to get my hands on it, I did ask for a floral layer scent which they didnāt have in stock and that was okay. But she went above and beyond and said she can check other stores near by which i appreciated. She was the only one that was real nice and i wish i got her name to show my appreciation. She is the only reason i am giving it a 2/5; otherwise it would have been a 1/5. Even checking out seemed like the employee didnāt like there job, which i understand, but dang makes me never want to go back to this location ever again. Which makes no difference to them, but Iām just happy we got one good...

Our previous experiences have been pleasant, and the people there were very helpful to us especially with suggesting skin care products for my little sister (she has psoriasis). But last night was different: nobody greeted us or asked us if we needed any help, and when we did approach someone they seemed irritated with us and offered no insight whatsoever. When we were rang up, the lady seemed irate as well, as if they were trying to just get us to leave. Mind you, it was 7:25 PM. It's not as if we were there at 8:55 still browsing and messing up displays. When I got my bag, it felt oddly light for the two products that I had bought. I handed the bag to my little sister who stuffed it in a bigger Banana Republic bag. We live in Chandler, so the drive was a bit for us and we still had a few errands to run. We unloaded our bags in our home and went to sleep. When I woke up this morning, I noticed that the foundation I bought was nowhere in sight. We called the store and the lady who was "helping" us was very condescending and didn't offer any immediate help. She said she would "look" into it and give us a call back. I'm not really sure what's going on in that store, but my frequent visits to Sephora have always been pleasant, but this time around, it wasn't. And they were not even apologetic...
