White House Black Market — Local services in Gilbert

Tonight, I stopped in at this store. I’ve been in these stores from time to time, but I’m not a regular. But, I really needed some nice clothes for a work event next week. Jordan helped me from the moment I entered. I was at SanTan Village and I was exhausted from going into three other adult women stores nearby, finding nothing. He asked what I was shopping for. I told him I was going to an important work event in Laguna Beach, casual but formal, beachy but corporate. He asked if he could select items for me. He pulled an array of amazing items for me I would have never selected. Each set seemed more beautiful and flattering on me. He grabbed shoes to complement. As I tried outfits on, he’d change sizes based on fit or offer alternatives for layers. It was like being a princess in a magic show. I regularly shop at Ann Taylor and had in fact shopped at their store earlier and had THREE people help me, but the experience was NOTHING like WHBM and could not compare to the attentiveness, knowledge and personality of Jordan. I had a wonderful shopping experience here, thanks especially to Sam! After visiting the Chandler location and being disappointed to find that they had only one pair of size 6 shorts in the entire store, I called this location to see if they had more in stock. Sam took the time to check the floor and the back stock while we were on the phone before I came out, helped me select several beautiful pieces I otherwise wouldn’t have noticed after I arrived, and even helped me figure out a discrepancy during checkout re: the expected total with the sale they were having. She could not possibly have been more friendly or helpful, and I love the clothes here too! I went in looking for a basic pair of shorts and left with 4 beautiful outfits for an upcoming cruise. Will never go back to this store. Older woman and younger lady that worked PM shift on 12/21/22 essentially wouldn’t stop harassing to help me during my shopping. I get asking if you need help but by 3rd time you think you would leave someone alone. The younger lady then proceeded 3 times to ask me if I want to sign up for a card- finally I said if you ask me again I’m just going to leave the store. Very fake employees and clearly work off commission or something. Little do they know the more you ask the less you’ll make because your customers will leave.
