The Paper Store — Local services in Glastonbury

Was told about this store from a friend when she heard we were going to eat at J. Gilbert's. Was warned about this store that I wouldn't be able to leave without something. I arrived, and I was like a kid in the candy store. They have Vera Bradley, Lilly Pulitzer, Ocean Jewelry, and so many more brands. There was so much to look at, and we were asked if we needed help right away. Very pleasant woman, signed me up for the coupons, and gave me the current coupon book for any purchase we were about to get. My most amazing man bought me some ocean jewelry. I was in awe over the earring and necklace piece. You can get lost in the store so much stuff to look at. Cards to outside stuff, to trinkets to geez I wasn't even able to see it all before our reservation. It's definitely a place to come back.

It was called because my bogg bag had a twisted handle after just purchasing it. I told her i tried to untwist it, but it looked like it was put on wrong. Was told to come to the store, told her I lived an hour away. Drove up an hour and came in. A worker took the bag, untwisted it, and said, "Oh ya, there is a video on utube to show how to untwist it. I said i just drove an hour to get here, and I wish I was told that on the phone before wasting a trip. Just shook my head. Or they could've untwisted it before...

Was in the store for 20 minutes this morning. Young adults were "working ". All I could hear was laughter and giggling from somewhere towards the back of the store. I was the only other person in the store. No one greeted me. No one asked if I needed assistance.No one even knew or cared I was in the store. I was hoping to find a gift for a graduation. Icame here because the Vernon store is closed on Sunday. I will wait till Monday and go to Vernon. They are very helpful and professional. I wont be back to the...

It's a beautiful store with lots of great gifts, but I don't appreciate being asked for my phone number every time I check out and then being given a subtle attitude when I say no.
