Chic-fil-a hasn’t disappointed me ever except for a fly in my mom’s salad once at the Laurel-Baltimore Ave location which was a few years ago. Today though, I saw something that I’ve seen in the world since I was a kid (minorityHISPANIC) btw. We were coming home from a errands with our kids and chose chic-fil-a as our American fat meal for the day 🤷♀️ my sister says the line is too long and I say well, they never fail to keep their line moving so just be patient for this company who stands on their business is what my thought process was and as I am proud to prove my point we see a white lady by the name of Alicia shouting at two Spanish workers who were CLEARLY doing their job and on top of that; we barley waited three minutes, the line was out of the parking lot and even then it wasn’t so long before we pulled into the parking lot; Alicia then says “we need to keep this gap right here filled okay this right here cannot have a gap COMPRENDE?” Which was right in front of the menu/order area and my sister and myself noticed there was no smirk or any type of impression that this was a normal tone for them at all so we knew what it was which is in our eyes how white Americans speak to foreigners. First, shouting at them in front of customers was already the first problem then second is using one word directions as if they’re talking to an animal and not a human being who is doing their job or as if they’re not intelligent enough to take that work-criticism or training really, on the side or face to face like adults/humans. I would appreciate a staff meeting on how everyone communicates with each other because if you work on providing the “‘my pleasure” type of service your employees should be treating one another with the same grace. The food was superb as...
Read moreLast Wednesday I went to this location for dinner. After getting home I noticed 2 chicken sandwiches was missing from my order. I called the store and spoke with a manager. The manager apologized and said next time I come to give them my name and I would get the sandwiches free since they was missing. Well tonight I go back again to get my kids dinner and I tell them the manager told me the next visit to five them my name and I will get the sandwiches. When I got to the window a young gentleman came and asked my name and said they did not see my name in the book? He than asked if I had my receipt? I looked and could not locate it. I explained to him that I had spoken with a manager and that I'm pretty sure the manager would remember speaking to me on the telephone maybe she didn't write it down or something? He continues to tell me that the managers are very good at writing things down and the next time I cant hold up the line I would have to come in? It was not my fault the line was held up. That he would do it this time but the next time he would not be able to unless it was written down? I don't understand how it is my fault the it was not written down? He treated me as if I was lying and he had to go Investigate to verify that I had called? He was very rude and And highly insulted me?? I have always had good experience with customer service at chic fila. It seems this particular restaurant needs to train their employees better at customer service. I will not come back to this location. That gentleman needs retraining in his customer service skills. He really...
Read moreThis was our first time back at the Quarterfield location. Even though they're the closest we'll go out of our way to go to Glen Burnie, Pasadena, or Severna Park because of prior bad experiences at the CFA Quarterfield (food quality, slow service, rude dining room staff). We had an issue with a coupon at the window. The peppermint shake we ordered apparently was not included in milkshake reward on the app. Instead of a friendly or polite explanation we got a lecture. The woman at the window was very short with us. Her tone was super accusatory and she had an attitude like we were trying to scam her out of something because because the milkshake coupon we had didn't apply to that particular shake and we weren't aware of that. If this had been at any other CFA this would have been handled in a far politer and friendly manner. I've had issues at other CFA locations (missing cheese, wrong drink, you get the idea) and every time it's handled far more politely and efficiently than this chick fil a location. In the time it took for this manager to lecture us about the coupon they could have served 2 more cars at the window. So not only were they rude, they were also inefficient. Oh and the best part is the shake was almost completely melted by the time we got it. It had been just sitting in a line of drinks on the window. They've clearly just been making shakes ahead of time and letting them sit until the cars pull up. There's no other reason the shake and the whipped cream would be that melted. This was a great reminder for why we've been avoiding the Quarterfield...
