Lots of things to try here, not just olive oil and vinegar. Seasoning, pasta, honey, gifts... So much variety!!

The owners are extremely friendly and took their time to give us a tour of the things they offer. They definitely add a personal touch and connection with their customers. In our case, the owners even personally delivered our purchases after the shop closed since we had walked to the shop and would be carrying a couple of boxes. Talk about awesome customer service and taking care of your customers! They have a genuine kindness and charm you just don't see that much anymore.

Bottom line, you need to go here if you are ever...

I can't even tell you how much I love this place!!! we found Olive n Vinnie's after going to the Glenn Elynn farmer's market. Karen is so friendly and has special reasons for everything in the shop! You NEED to buy the snacking peanut butter and her signature black truffle salt! Both unbelieveably good, so good we bought extras for our friends as gifts. And MAN do they know their olive oils! I was shopping for a nice spicy, but flavorful, olive oil. And they showed me this AMAZING green pepper olive oil, I put it in my eggs, my corned beef hash, and so much more! they've got great suggestions on what to pair with each olive oil.

I can't recommend this place enough, has to be my all-time favorite family-owned store. My girlfriend and I come here monthly just to buy peanut butter! Can't support...

Olive 'n Vinnie's is Amazing!!!

I came across this delightful store via Groupon and ever so happy I did. We were immediately welcomed by the owner, Karen. Being a complete novice to balsamics and oils, she quickly started to explain them to us encouraged us to sample her products. I can't tell you how these items are opening up a whole new range of cooking and eating possibilities for me. My only regret is that I didn't know about this store until now. I can't wait to visit again and next time I'm planning to go to the sister store, Uptown, which is right nearby. This is a great location right in the heart of Downers Grove near the train. So thankful for Karen's expertise...
