American Pet Resort & Spa — Local services in Glendora

We absolutely love AMERICA PET RESORT!! Our husky has been going here almost a year since April 2023. After having to move last year our new housing provider told us we couldn't bring our doggie with us to live although we had her for 3 years at that time.We searched for the best place to put our dog short term until it could be resolved.Prior to this time we didn't even know that doggie daycare/boarding was a thing. We went to tour a few other daycares right before we found America pet resort &spa but did not feel they were a good fit since the dogs were only let out of their crate for 30 minutes a day. When I went into American pet resort and spa I KNEW we found the right place for our Luna! The staff are really great, kind, caring and knowledgeable here and it seems like they get the best batch of dogs. They let the dogs play for hours and we got to visit with our dog almost everyday until we were able to bring her home.Our dog has done boarding here and often does daycare. Next, I was pleasantly surprised to learn they also offer grooming services. Each time we get Luna groomed the groomers do the best job with her, making her look super brand new,soft, fluffy, and well loved! We love American pet resort as if they were apart of our family and wish them all the best...

I can’t say enough good things about American Pet Resort & Spa! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. They took the time to give me a full tour of the facility so I could see where my dog, Pascal, would be staying and playing. That extra step really gave me peace of mind.

During his stay, they went above and beyond to keep me updated by sending photos and videos on Instagram. Those updates meant so much to me because I could see that Pascal was happy, comfortable, and in great hands. It’s clear that they truly care about the pets and treat them like their own.

Pascal came home relaxed and well cared for, and I could tell he enjoyed his time there. Knowing he had such a positive experience makes it so much easier for me to plan future trips without worry. I’ll absolutely be using American Pet Resort & Spa again for both boarding and daycare.

Staff was friendly, services were well priced and they seemed to have their regular clients, but this was my first time and when I got a call to pick up my dogs, I arrived an hour after the call and I still had to wait for one of my dogs to get her fur trimmed because they forgot to finish her grooming services. But that's easy to overlook if you have time to spare, the reason this is a 1 star review is because both my dogs came home with eye infections. They have thick yellow discharge and they can't keep their eyes open without constantly blinking and rubbing their eyes.

They went in two healthy dogs and came out infected, which will ultimately cost me more money to take them both to the vet and get antibiotics than what I spent to groom them. They must not have good sanitation practices and will not be taking my fur babies...
