I’ve been in the med program for a few years and MPX is easily the best price to quality ratio in the state. I’m a BW stan and outside of that, MPX is easily the standard when it comes to purchasing. Their line of flower/carts are as reasonably priced as can be but that doesn’t mean you’re losing out on quality relief. Quite the opposite actually, the Anthologie line has become one of my favorites. MPX is one of the few dispensaries in the area that truly cares about their patients and the larger cannabis community. They not only show it in quality flower and very generous “littles,” but also via their prices and numerous deals that can always be found. Even better, they actively promote their relationship with Last Prisoner Project and have a system where you can round up your change to donate. I’ve always felt these businesses have a duty to give back to those still most impacted by the War on Drugs and it’s nice to see a business in this space doing so. Believe it or not it’s unfortunately rare. And to top it all off what also keeps me coming back are the insanely kind and professional staff who are always full of good energy, recommendations, and who I can tell throughly enjoying speaking with patients and customers. Shout out to Lauren there who always has a smile on her face and who has helped me find some of my new favorite products!! Retail is not easy but they wear it well, definitely go and check them out!!

Update 3/2025:

This place has gone massively downhill. Staff and security are still great and the deals are still good and better than most, but the energy and vibe has fell off along with their once great rewards program.

A mistake with a purchase was made recently with my friend, a first time customer, and instead of handling it with good customer service the manager seemed annoyed to help us despite staff not conducting a bag check to ensure we had the right items. Sales are non refundable due to state regulations. My friend was overcharged by $50 on a product he didn’t ask for and didn’t confirm to want.

Not cool, however mistakes happen.

When the manager was alerted to make right my friends order he was visibly agitated and annoyed. Didn’t even make eye contact. It was rude. He should look up my spend and maybe be a little kinder to people who are regulars helping to keep them in business. I’m in the industry as well and know how customers, new and old, should be treated and it’s not like that.

I’ve been coming here for years and love interacting with staff when I’m in, I expect friendlier service from management, especially when the mistake is on you AND I’m bringing someone new in...

WHY ?? Because they deserve it ! MPX was bought out by iAnthus CORP, since this occurred I've noticed many bad changes.

#1 .THEY STOPPED MOST DISCONTS

HERO DISCOUNT - (for VETS ,LEOS, NURSES DRS, EMT etc.) went from 25% off to only a measly 15% OFF & CANT BE STACKED !

STUDENT & TEACHER discount -GONE completely GONE from %20 to 0% . YES ZERO

LOW INCOME DISCOUNT - GONE ..USED2b %20 dropped to %15 then now %0 OFF . YES ZERO

BUT TRULEY most outrageous though is the complete removal of the

HOSPICE & MINOR DISCOUNT- GONE USED2b %50 off its now ZERO !! YES 0% OFF . NOW you can be dying of CANCER or any other incurable TERMINAL illness and you do not even get a discount anymore at MPX when dying ! VERY SAD ! Do Better !

#2 Prices have NOT gone down at all since opening infact many have gone up. Example ; Most 0.5 gram carts are around $,60 a $5 difference in price compared to a 1gram cart at $65, then you got a 2 gram BRIQS on sale for $88 . It makes no sense!

MPX used to have GREAT deals on 1 ounces & 1/2 ounces of flower just $85 everyday. Now its $85 for just 3.5g or 7grams and its bad product, flower always crusty dusty dry & never that sticky icky that you want .Go here if you want to pay full price for trash products !

#3 Once they when to adult they now cater to Adult and Medical gets put on thr back burner . Half the time the prices are lower in the Rect side and the adult selection is way broader than the medical side .

MPX made $22.5 million profits in just 1 quarter in year 2023.thats just one quater out the whole year . So let them lie & say they can afford to give us discounts !!! Greedy Corporations !

Only time I go is when is the rare occasion I see a decent deal (which is rare anymore) or once a month to use my $10 off coupon for a 5 star review on google ( which I then change right back to 1 star after my purchase Lol ) until they fix the discounts it will STAY at 1 STAR ! Also My Duck girl budtender she is the BEST . I love you my favorite budtender ! Sadly the Budtenders are GREAT here , its the iAntus Corp that's messing up a good place ! I will go down the road to the Botanist where I get %20 off or Curaleaf and get %30 off on...

Edit: What’s going on with this place?! I’m done shopping here until they bring their flower prices back down on the ounces. Been loyally coming here since September, the bud is good and all but their prices are going the wrong way! They had some really good 1 ounce prices for a while. Then they made it so you couldn’t use the daily discounts on them, then they reinstated the discount but raised the price, then raised the prices even more! Stop with the gimmicks and just sell bud at a consistent, reasonable price! Made me look like a liar because I’ve been recommending this place to people, telling them what great prices MPX has. A friend went there and the ounce I paid $158 for with tax a couple weeks before was $250. I looked like a damn fool! Get your stuff together. NJ recreational dispensaries are a joke compared to every other state I’ve been to.

MPX Gloucester was my first time buying recreational in NJ and I was really surprised with the price and quality. I had a medical card years ago and have been to other dispensaries but their outrageous prices, generic products and ridiculous wait times drove me back underground. I was in a pinch last month before a trip so did some shopping around online and found that MPX actually had some great prices compared to most others. Looking at their website just before writing this I see the price has gotten even better since my visit! I placed an online order the night before so was in and out in under 15 minutes and my bud tender was super friendly. If they keep up the 1 oz specials and the quality they may have a new customer for life. The only suggestion I would make is to start offering some 1oz. ground to go or shake deals for us home chefs. Love my homemade edibles....
