I started shopping at Emily's about 4 years ago. Have sent at least a dozen or more people their way. Loved seeing the cute, trendy and affordable items that the store offered through social media and supporting small businesses. Unfortunately for me, I am cutting ties with Emily's Boutique and I want to tell you why. I do all my shopping online and I recently ordered a dress that was $40, shipping was $7 and tax was $3 and some change. My total for the dress was $50.12. The dress didn't fit, the pockets were kinda funky for my hips, so I sent it back ($3.53 for 2 day shipping), exchanged it for a super cute $36 top. I was then charged $7 shipping again. Which, you would think I would have a $7 credit (if you do the math), right? nope. I was contacted by Emily's to pay $3.20 more to have the $36 top sent to me. I paid $53.20 for a $36 blouse. Oh, and the shipping label on the top was $3.83 (not $7). When I tried to settle it with Emily's through private messages, all I got was "have a good day", "sorry you are upset" and "here's 15% off your next order"......not a word about me paying over $50 for a $36 top. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with this shop anymore. They get a "poor" rating because of the customer service I was given and the ridiculous amount I was charged for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been wanting to visit this store for a long time. When I walked in, I was super excited because everything I saw, I liked. I was looking for the perfect outfit for my engagement photos. I took many outfits and dresses into the dressing room. My mother was with me to the store as well. She had been wanting to go as well, but some health issues have confined her to the house. She wanted to get out a while today. We had several hundreds of dollars worth of clothes we were heading to the counter with and my mom needed to use the restroom. She has a stint in her kidney which makes waiting it out difficult. They refused many times and even said āabsolutely notā to her using the restroom. This was disheartening because they donāt mind people spending hundreds of dollars, but wonāt allow anyone to use the restroom so they can continue to shop and...
