Torrid — Local services in Goodyear

Tried coming back to give them another shot after a long break from this specific location from having previous problems. I came to do a simple exchange from an online order and I was given a price to look for to have an even exchange. Im not sure if the lady was new or just not paying attention but I came back with the even priced item they told me there was a difference to pay and now this item is clearance so I spent an additional half an hour combing every peice whether it was my size or not just to try and exchange. After finding nothing I asked if they could tell me what was that price they responded with theres no way to look up that info . Because I used a coupon qnd my rewards I earned from buying other several hungldred dollars of product it was worth less then half of the price of the item I am incredibly underwhelmed with thier customer service and ability to take responsibility for thier mistakes and making the problem mine. There were several employees there happy to talk about other employees being terminated or quitting with the manager but no one to qssist a very clearly upset customer. I have been shopping torrid for over a decade and am perfectly happy never returning to this location again. Sad you guys are happy leaving your customers...

If you are looking for larger sizes, with fun, hip, trendy clothes, this is your place. I've been here twice. The styles and sizes are great and the available merchandise is always changing. They have great sales and a large selection of clearance items. They have clothes, shoes, jewelry and more. The first time I was here the customer service was excellent, the employees helped me find some great outfits and helped me when the sizes weren't quite right. They prepared a dressing room for me and I loved that they have camisoles in there for trying things on. I explained what I needed and wanted and they were very accommodating and helpful. I know I bought extra outfits because shopping here was such a great experience. The second time however the employee that helped me was not so great, not attentive at all. I know longer go to this location. The manager is rude and not at all personable. When we walked in the door she blew passed my mother and I rushing out the store and we were greeted by an employee. Further me one of the ladies at check out let it slipped that there had been a conversation about my mother and I coming to that location to shop 4 days in a row during a 50% off sale. Apparently the discussion was about how they couldn’t understand how we were able to frequent the store so often. It was mentioned as if our frequenting the store was an issue. Needless to say I felt insulted and gossiped about and when I informed my mother she felt the same so we made the decision to “X” out this location and won’t be returning.
