I have been dealing with Charleston Billiards on College Park Rd. off and on for several years. I have always received great customer service. Recently I took my “shooting stick” and my “break stick” to them to have the tips replaced. Cost me quite a lot to have tips replaced on these two cues. I was very pleased with the way I was shooting with these new tips. Until a month later when I broke at 9 ball and my new 40+ dollar break-tip went flying across the pool hall. Unfortunately I could not find my receipt. Went back to Charleston Billiards figuring they would have a copy on file, after-all, businesses are required to prove yearly income due to the IRS. Of course, they said they don’t save receipt copies and commenced showing me a handful of recent receipt copies that were “filed and kept” in an open “cardboard box” that was sitting on a shelf. Rather than working something out to keep a satisfied customer, the gentleman told me that either I’m not storing my cues properly ( I store them in a cue bag that I purchased from them several years ago)or I may have hit the cue ball with the edge of the tip. So? These high dollar tips aren’t designed for use with English? Well, anyhow, I had no choice but to have them install another new tip at full cost of 40.00!! Seems they would have cut me a break or somehow made me a satisfied customer. Oh!!! I’m sorry! He did say he could put an “extra” bit of glue on it. 🤔 I guess when your the only place local, that repairs cue sticks, you don’t need to show care for ya customers. I can’t say that I won’t go back there again, since, as I previously stated, I know of no other local “cue stick” repair...
Read moreI have to say how impressed I am with Charleston Billiards & Cue.
I reached out to them to help with a local veterans facility here in the Charleston area. This facility serves retired vets from all branches of our country. They had a pool table that appeared to have a good foundation, but the felt and pockets were in really bad shape, making the table almost unusable.
When I approached Charleston Billiards I really didn't know what to expect, we were really hoping for some sort of discount. But I was completely blown away by their generosity. They replaced the felt, redid all the rails and donated new pockets.
Charleston Billiards did all of this work 100% for free - no charge.
In the end this table came out looking and playing like a brand new table. Before we even left the facility the veterans were already playing and making great use of their "new" table.
Its was great to see the generosity of Charleston Billiards and for them to show their support to the veterans that served our country is simply unbelievable.

Read moreWe had an ancient pool table that dated back to before the 1940’s that needed to be assembled after it was shipped from Boston. The company that originally crated it and was supposed to assemble it when it arrived, backed out and declined to assemble it due to its fragile state. After sifting through multiple companies that couldn’t give me the confidence and security to assemble it properly, Carlos and his team at Charleston Billiards gave me the ultimate peace of mind, with a great price and did not disappoint! They were the only company that offered to come out and inspect the table first and walk me through the entire process. I also had open and direct communication Carlos the whole time, I didn’t have to jump through hoops anytime I had a question. These guys know what they’re doing and we truly couldn’t be happier with the result. 10/10...
