THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE TAKEOUT RESTAURANTS. IT IS A SMALL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS WITH A HANDFUL OF HARDWORKING, DEVOTED EMPLOYEES. REGARDLESS OF HOW BACKED UP AND BUSY THEY MAY BE, THE FOOD CONSISTENTLY COMES OUT WITHIN 10-15 MINUTES, COOKED PERFECTLY TO ORDER, STEAMING HOT. IF YOU PREFER TO DINE IN, THERE ARE 6 TO 8 BOOTHS THAT COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE 4 TO 6 PEOPLE PER TABLE. OTHER THAN THE SOMEWHAT OBNOXIOUS BELL THAT SOUNDS EVERY TIME ANYONE ENTERS OR EXITS THE PREMISE, THE ATMOSPHERE IS QUIET AND PEACEFUL. I won't be back. I am new to the area. Why is all the fried rice bright yellow? Usually fried rice has a more brownish hue. It tasted over cooked. My Mei fun was dark brown. Looked like it was cooked in soy sauce. I've eaten at countless Chinese restaurants and never experienced this with mei fun. I’ve ordered from this restaurant many times for a good handful of years. I usually order the pepper steak, what happened? The last couple times I ordered from them. .
