Slumberland Furniture — Local services in Grand Island

Out of 5 stores I had left messages for, this was the only place that answered back, and actually called me back with info. Was looking for a chair in my price range that reclined all the way back to be comfortable enough to fall asleep in as my Catnapper Brody Wallhugger wasnt cutting it. Looked at the chairs they had told me about and was exactly what i wanted, let alone the ratcheting design, i was able to recline back far enough i almost tipped the chair, and the 3 locking points for the foot rest is something ill be looking forward to experimenting with. I was then shown the Brody Recliner. When i sat down in it and just kinda sunk in, i just couldnt get that comfort feeling out of my body. And now will probably only ever buy La-Z-Boys. After expressing concerns through my intial review, Slumberland contacted me and made a few compromises in order to help my situation. I appreciate their efforts and willingness to negotiate to a happy medium. Haidee and Josh were both easy to work with. I am pleased to offer another, more positive, review of GI's Slumberland.

Maximum" 60 day wait for furniture does not exist. Paid in full for a sofa and two living chairs. Never received a call on furniture status. Still waiting for sales person to return my calls. During one of my attempts another staff member informed me "it was on back order". It will be another 6 weeks. (Thanks for the update.) Slumberland can't come through but if I want to cancel I have to forfeit 25%. Now that's good customer service. We'll see if it makes it here before...

Clint was very helpful from the time I entered the store until my order was written up. He showed me all the features that would be included in my special order. He was kind to let me check out fabric and leather samples to match a Lazyboy recliner that I had purchased over a year ago at this same store. He had pulled up my order on my Lazyboy recliner to get the fabric sample, but it had already been discontinued. So it was nice to bring home these samples to match my recliner. He explained why orders took longer than usual. Also about the extended warranty and delivery options which I wanted.
