I absolutely hate giving poor reviews, but this time unfortunately they deserve it. 3 stars because when I first got there everything was running smoothly. The 4 kiddos highschool to college age were running it very efficiently. The 20 something with med length brown hair and a mustache could have run it by himself. He was on the grill and could have had the entire line through in 15 minutes. Kudos to that kiddo. Please give him a raise. There were two guys on the grill the young lady was putting on toppings and dropping fries and the smaller statured 20 something kiddo was running the register. My husband was two family groups of people ahead of me.( Both with groups of 3)He got his rather quickly. I don't know what changed but the good worker kiddo asked the guy in the back for help. He was my age in his 40 s. That's when everything service wise came to a halt. He looked at me and said something about "America, where a man can be a woman.". Number one that was extremely demeaning, as I am a woman. Number 2. He had 3 of the kiddos go run the window and proceeded to CLEAN the grill! In the middle of a rush to a grill that wasn't that dirty. I have worked in food service my entire life. You never clean the grill in the middle of a rush as it will take the grill 20 minutes to warm back up again. This left the poor kiddo on the register to do fries and toppings and register. It was 35 minutes from the time my husband sat down to when I did. And 15 minutes later, when we left, the people directly behind me were still at the counter. Please. Give the efficient 20 something year old manager position and take the guy my age off it. I honestly couldn't tell if he was just nerodivrgent or purposely slow, rude, and inefficient. 3 stars because the 4 employees who cared were excellent. Read moreAs a parent of a child with a tree nut allergy I want to say kudos to PepperJax Grill for actually having an allergen menu on site and answering all of my questions. That being said my husband and I enjoyed the Philly sandwich and loaded fries. The food was delicious and prepared fresh right before our eyes. The manager Devon went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests and he did it with genuine sincerity which is rare in today's society. He along with his copilot Kaya made us feel welcome and made our experience enjoyable and pleasant. Although they were quite busy with orders as well as the health inspector being present (they passed with flying colors by the way, accidentally overheard as we were dining) they took the time to assist us with the order process and answer all our questions since it was our first time eating there. Read moreHorrible customer service experience on Sunday 4/23. I ordered food online. It was done quickly. However, I did not receive any chips for my nachos . I got home, called and they stated to come back to the store. No apology. I told them I would run through the drive thru and they said they would give me my chips. I waited for 10 minutes in line behind another vehicle. I finally got out of line and went back inside for my chips. Then the lady working just handed me the chips in a hurry. Once again, no apology. Now I'm eating cold food and the other person I was eating with had already finished. I'm pretty upset about the inconvenience. I also was kind enough to tip the workers.
