My husband and I came in on Wednesday 12/21/22 to get a jacket for me for Christmas. The young lady working was very nice. We got a jacket and went home. Upon arriving at home, I noticed that there were a lot of string in the jacket. I removed most but not all of them. On Saturday 12/24/22 I wore the jacket for the first time to go cross country skiing. The left sleeve was coming unsewn and the back pack feature was not pleasant. I reached out to the company via their website about the sleeve and was told to bring it in on Monday 12/26/22. When I arrives at their store Monday morning, the gentleman that was working was not pleasant at all. He treated me like I was trying to rip them off. He asked how much we paid for the jacket and I gave him the amount. He said "most people come in here wanting a hundred dollar jacket with upgrades but don't want to pay for them". I responded with the chat information and told him that I was told to bring it back due to it being defective. His response was "well I will probably just refund your money". I was ok with that but we found a replacement instead. Upon my getting ready to leave the store the gentleman told me to bring the jacket back in a normal business day and they would reinforce the sleeves, for a cost of course. The replacement jacket is having the same issues as the first but I do not want to deal with them again so I will fix it myself. As far as the backpack feature goes, the straps are made of ribbon and the fasteners are very large. It will not stay tight or on your shoulders unless you make some modifications. I will not purchase anything else from this company. For the price of their merchandise, I would expect better quality and...
Read moreI have never been in this store before today, but my mother spends several hundreds of dollars here every year. I got a jacket for Christmas that was too big, and we went in for a smaller size of the same jacket and the owner wanted to charge us $40 for an even exchange! He wanted to argue with us when we said we just wanted a smaller size and that I live out of town and was unable to try the jacket on when it was originally purchased. Needless to say, we will never be shopping here again, as the customer service was unbelievable. Please, save yourself the headache and DO NOT shop here!
We most definitely did have a receipt, you just didn’t bother to look at it; and the item was not a close out item. My mother asked the sales lady when she originally bought it if it did not fit because I was not there to try it on if we could exchange it for a different size and she said it would not be a problem. I am appalled that you would come on here and lie about what happened instead of apologize for your horrific customer service...
Read moreI'm a rock guide and having quality gear is of vital importance to me. I also own a local business, so supporting the GJ crew is of equal importance.
Loki has superb products at incredible prices. I recently sold all of my Outdoor Research and Patagonads apparel and switched entirely to Loki. I haven't looked back.
Yesterday I was climbing in the Black Canyon on a cloudy, ten-degree day with fresh snow coming down. I wore a Shadow Shirt, Tech Hoodie and Kenai down jacket and was not cold once in ten hours on the rock. The integrated mitts were extremely helpful, as I have a tendency to drop my gloves off cliffs. (The one downside is that when frozen, they are a bit difficult to switch over).
Had I not worn Loki gear, it would have been a highly unpleasant day. But instead, we put up and cleaned a new first ascent (Image of the Invisible 5.10) and had a great time doing it. Thanks, Loki! I'll be back for a Mountain...
