Make sure your getting what you paid for. We have been looking to get a new couch for a while and found a reasonable priced leather sectional with power recliners. Our sales representative informed us that the couch was a mixed matched unit and the reason it was selling at a lower price. We appreciated and respected his honesty but it didn’t deter us from purchasing the couch. We also purchased a dining room table and chairs that we scheduled for delivery the next day. Bought and paid for our delivery truck arrived for a small fee of $85 cash, brought our couch into the house in 6 pieces and left it in the middle of the living room. Didn’t even bother to put it together or hook up any of the power connections. Then informed us that the dining room table wouldn’t fit into the door but they could take the legs off for us for a additional $40. They could also take our old couch to the curb for another $40 or haul it away for 60. Absolutely not! I said assembly of the couch and getting our table into the house should be included in the delivery fee, apparently it wasn’t so they were perfectly fine with leaving our dining room table in the middle of the driveway. Customer service at its best!!!! A few day’s later we wanted to make the dining room table smaller but couldn’t get it to open up and get the center leaf out. When I crawled under the table it was a complete disaster, missing braces for trim , broken slides, cracked cross braces, and drywall screws holding it all together. UNBELIEVABLE! Now we have dinner table that dips at the center and honestly I’m just waiting for it break in half so we can have dinner on the floor. Read moreI must admit the salesperson was great, however the delivery people they allow to deliver and set up are appalling. First they never called until they day of delivery with no preset time for delivery... not a delivery window, time frame or anything. Suddenly at 7pm I get a call saying I will be there in 30 min... when I communicated I would be 45 min they screamed at me like I should be waiting around all day for their call. I get there in 35 min just to get a call 15 min after I arrived saying it would be 45 more minutes, so why I was yelled at prior to I have no idea. They arrive an hour later... come inside to see where I wanted things placed. They began to bring things in and were angry because I had stairs in my home to the point they yelled out that my purchases were heavy... I was confused by the comment and asked what is that supposed to mean and then get threatened for my life because they made a choice in life to deliver furniture. They told me to pick up my own rugs and take them upstairs and cursed at me yet again when I asked if I get a discount for that since they were charging $400 to deliver and set up my purchases. Though this is not Rooms to go’s employees they recommended these people to my home whom I was actually threatened by their communication and threats themselves. I would never shop here if I needed something delivered or set up. It was absolutely atrocious the way these men acted and treated my things throwing my rugs down because I don’t want to take them in the home since I paid them to do so. Read moreI went to rooms to go November 8th in Arlington and made a perchase for a bed for my daughter. Gerardo was the person that helped me with my order and he scheduled the delivery for November 23rd , which I think was a good range of time. Then two days before my delivery I was getting notification to confirm the hour of delivery and then the day and time came. The delivery guys came in time with zero issues but when they were installing the bed , they realized that they brought the wrong item. The bed I ordered was size full and they brought me a size twin (the mattress were the right size). The delivery guy said it wasn't his fault it was the warehouse fault because they don't work for rooms to go they work as an independent company. That morning I tried to call customer service several times and I receive no helped. Finally when I got to talk to someone they only told me that my product wasn't in stock. My question was: do they just sell and just send whatever they have without caring that it's not the correct product???? They could of at least let me know ahead of time that they didn't have the right products and rescheduled my delivery and not let me waste my time , without mentioning that that was a suprise birthday gift for my four year old daughter and they ruined it. Also I had to tell my guest that were visiting for thanksgiving that they couldn't stay at my house because I didn't have an extra bed room for them.
