ADT Security Services — Local services in Grants Pass

I always tend to have the worst experiences with supposed great companies. 1.We were told the remotes make sound when the alarm goes off AND that they tell out where in the house was broken into. They are silent. They don't even beep when your alarm goes off so you HAVE to have your main box nearby to hear if something is happening. That is the only reason I got it. guy showed up and installed 2 sensors in a way I couldn't even open up 2 of my door windows. He told me a $99 visa would come in the mail in a few weeks that would reimburse our appt. Fee. It never came so I called and they said I need to fill something out to get it so they would email me. They didn't have the email correct so it never came. I fixed the email and they said they sent it and I never got it. So I'm still waiting for my money Since the remotes don't make noise, my dog can tell me someone is intruding before my alarm will. I tried to cancel after three days and they said I'd be stuck to my contract of $1500 even though their guy that came out lied about what the services did. Now I'm stuck with the stupid main box IN my room and I can't even set it while my toddler is asleep because it makes noise. I'm so so so frustrated with this company I might even take it to the BBB. Worst company I have ever tried to do business with. I requested security system and installation and was assured it could be done. Equipment was ordered and we were told to call when it arrived. Which we did, only to learn that it couldn't be installed in our location. We cancelled service after much frustration and long phone holds, disconnects, passing me from representative to representative and nobody knew what they were doing. Equipment was returned and we had to call again to request our deposit back. More disconnects, long holds, and even being told when there is high call volume we will be disconnected with no call backs. Then we were billed for a month of service which we had to request a refund for. And there's more, we also received a bill saying we were 2 months behind on our bill! Terrible service and...

I tried to set up a home ADT system, with monitoring services, only to discover that really, what they shipped me was a bunch of Nest Cameras (which I declined when speaking to sales) and some door sensors. Now that I'm trying to cancel, I've been hung up on and given the option to have a rep call me back, but nobody has called me back. The 3M command strips do not stick to vinyl windows, metal doors, or wooden door frames. The single screw per sensor and plastic anchor will not drive into my metal frame doors (nor am I about to try them), and literally the first time I opened the door, the magnet strength ripped the command strips off each door.
