in 2015 us cellular lost a 30 million dollar class action lawsuit for intentionally overcharging customers hundred TO LITERALLY THOUSANDS of dollars. they are back at it again ,.. No matter what amount you pay , they will say you owe anywhere form 1200 dollars to 500 dollars "even though you plan costs 200 or so ." In my case literally every month as a disabled vet i pay them from my monthly check the amount they say to ,.. but for the last 5 months in a row they have shut off my phone service and charged me 100 additional dollars plus these 1200 to 500 dollar amounts. They have ruined my credit dropping over 140 points so far , so bad in fact i can not get service anyplace else , further though my phone has been paid for in full they refuse to unlock it saying I owe some random amount that is different each time. I had been with them for years , but clearly if they would rip off a disabled veteran with a wife in a coma they would rip off anybody including YOU. I can't even cancel my service btw. There are currently 640 people in my zipcode alone that have the same issue according to the consumers affairs . DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN...
Read moreShort story: Employees will NEVER call you back. I will NEVER spend any money here, and I'm looking for another carrier. I started trying to preorder a Galaxy S9 last Saturday. I was told there was a technical problem, but it wouldn't cause any problems for the preorder and he would call me the following day to let me know when it was finished. He never called Sunday, so I called and was told he wasn't working and would call me on Monday. He never called again, so I called and he said they were finishing up with the technical problem and he would call back in 20 minutes to get my credit card information and finish the preorder. He never called. I went into the store on Tuesday, where a different employee told me there was no ticket showing a preorder had ever been started. So she started another preorder, when she said part of the deal was you had to have insurance and an unlimited data plan. I was told the previous Saturday that there were no issues with the preorder, it was just a technical problem. I spoke to the manager who said he would speak to the first employee and give me a call.

From the corporate customer service person promising me that they would work with me to make payments on my account after my ex wife racked up an extra $1,000 to my bill. Yeah... That was a lie!! To the sales promotion of receiving a free phone with a 3 year contract, but the monthly charges for the phone itself still showed up on my bill! So that was also a lie!! Then, lets not forget that they do not honor their own protection plan that they were charging me $14.99 per phone, per month.
