Tried to post this on the sleep number website and it wont let me! Worst $3k iv ever spent I had high hopes for this bed when it came to back pain. I tried to return during the 100 nights and I was not happy with it for many reasons and they talked me into trying a topper on it which did nothing then I had a death in the family so returning a bed wasn't on my mind and my trial passed so iv been stuck with this thing and I wake up in more pain then I had when I went to sleep. I have the C4 king split and the center is a constant pit to fall in. The bed constantly doesn't want to adjust correctly if it will adjust at all.. One side always feels less filled even when both are at same setting. Techs came once and put a piece of foam in the middle to help with the center pit but it did nothing and they were notified and recognized that the bed wasn't adjusting properly and said they would report it and have me contacted which never happened. When I call my local store I purchased from I never get a call back and always get the run around.. If I didn't care about my credit rating so much I'd stop paying on the thing and burn it. My $300 couch is easier on my back then this bed and it's not just me as iv let 4 other couples sleep in it when they have stayed at my home and they have all said it's horrible. Idk if I just got a dud or what but it's been a huge mistake...
Read moreWe got our new bed after two weeks. Tech set it up and left. We tried it out and it was not working correctly, it jumps and doesn’t set on the sleep numbers we choose, and yes, we use the remote! We call customer support and it takes thirty minutes of unplugging hoses and testing everything that they asked me to do. Customer support decided they were going to replace the base and it will take ANOTHER TWO WEEKS for them to get here.
UPDATE: Fast forward two weeks. Tech arrived today 3/22. They decided the pump was bad, NOT the base. They wanted the tech to install it and said it would take ANOTHER TWO WEEKS for them to deliver and put it in. We bought this bed and we’ve been laying on a faulty product since we first got it. But I decided it was time for an upgrade so I came to the Morgantown store to see what was new. The manager Denise greeted me at the door and did a great job at explaining what was new in the world of Sleep Number. It did seem like I was being upsold to and that she tried to make a few extra bucks off the sale instead of respecting my budget, but I felt comfortable enough to make the decision to order a new bed that day online.
