Cindy Kramer, Cindy Kraaaamer, where do I begin. Oh yeah I wasnt taking any time to get into your attitude ruining my birthday dinner.
My group of 7 sat down at 7:25 pm tonight, our first drink order came at about 7:40. After ordering our meals finally at 750ish, and the salads for the meals came at about 8:20. After talking a bit, our food arrived at maybe 9:00.
When the food arrived, most everyone had issues, but nobody really wanted to speak up, but I did because i ordered "The Longhorn", their top dollar steak that includes a ribeye and filet in one steak. When my steak came, I was served a 1/2 inch thick ribeye. I let the waitress know;nicely, I might add, and she said a manager would be over.
Behold Cindy Kramer comes over with an attitude out the gate. I've ordered this steak probably 10 times in the last 3 months, but she thought talking over me and telling me what it "actually was," was the best way to handle everything. I was nice at first, but her attitude did it in for me.
She was absolutely disrespectful, so I told her she could take her "Longhorn steak," and I just wouldn't eat. I had two beers at 7 a piece and ordered the most expensive thing on the menu with 1 premium side, but I guess that wasn't enough. Cindy Kramer is a disgrace to the company, and I feel horrible for any employee who has to actually work under her. The environment has to be horrible.
I'll be posting a picture of my best friends medium rare steak that he got, as well as my lovely birthday dinner I ate when i got home since the GENERAL MANAGER couldnt handle a friendly coversation about a steak...
Read moreI have been to Longhorn Steakhouse numerous times in the past with positive outcomes. However, my most recent visit compelled me to leave a review. My fiancé and I visited on Labor Day afternoon with his two preteen children. After being seated we did not get greeted for some time, enough time for us to consider leaving and going to the roadhouse. All of the food we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly so no complaints there. However, the waitress did not stop by to ask if our steaks were cooked the way we wanted and we also had to ask for refills on our drinks. The major issue came when his son spilled his sweet tea. The waitress walked up and didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation. His daughter had to ask for napkins. As my fiancé was cleaning up the drink and ice on the table in front of him our food arrived. The server who was assisting our waitress infuriatingly put his plate of food DIRECTLY on top of the mess then scurried off. We really cannot wrap our brains around why anyone working in a food service job would do something like this. It really put a huge damper on the remainder of the meal and due to this incident along with the lackluster performance of our waitress we will most likely never return. He almost asked to speak to a manager but I persuaded him not to and now we both wish that...
Read moreI came here with a few other people, and everyone had more than one thing wrong with their dishes. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye with broccoli and a salad, but my salad was wrong, I got a baked potato instead of broccoli as my side, and my steak was well-done instead of medium-rare. Everyone else’s steaks were well-done as well, in spite of them being ordered rare, medium-rare, and medium. One of the people I was with asked for a refill of her sweet tea at the beginning of our meal, and then asked four more times before someone mistakenly brought an unsweet tea, and then left to go get the correct drink, which was finally brought out at the end of our meal. After all of this, rarely were solutions to these issues offered. Everything was kind of laughed off by the waitstaff as like “Man, isn’t it funny how there’s yet another issue.” Nothing was comped, and only two things were corrected. I’m rating 2 stars instead of 1 because I’ve been to LongHorn before and typically have a good experience, so I know this isn’t the normal expected behavior, but I was disappointed that nothing was taken very seriously and nothing was offered to remedy the situation...
