Giant Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Granville

I absolutely love this place!! I recently had a problem with my delivery grocery order not receiving it. However, Daniel, the manager at Giant Eagle was Super understanding and nice about the whole thing. He re-shopped my entire order and then what he couldn’t get because it was out of stock. He refunded me right away and gave all my information to the second dasher. He also made sure that I actually received my second order this time around and that it arrived fast and on time as well! After they delivered it, he even called making sure that I got my order and walked me through all of my refunds and even notified me of the items that were on my order , but didn’t have in stock anymore. He also apologized and was so polite and respectful with the whole situation! With all this being said, I am very satisfied with their customer care there. everyone is so unbelievably compassionate and kind. Daniel the manager certainly Deserves a raise for navigating my problems and resolving them in a time efficient and thoughtful manner. I have never been to this store until now ONLY because they have a brand of popsicles other stores quit selling. They have a wide variety of products but they are very high priced compared to Walmart. This is the most backwards store I have ever seen. You can't put your products on the conveyor belt until the person in front of you is completely gone because the person in front of you has to come back to the beginning to pay lol??? And self checkout is also backwards. You scan your products BEFORE letting them go down the belt. Usually you put your stuff on the belt and finish emptying your cart then scan and bag. Who comes...

Let me start by saying I despise a certain discount store starting with the letter W and ending with the letter T. That said, I was totally turned off to Giant Eagle because the exact same quart of Land O Lakes heavy cream purchased at "W" for $4 and change was $7.99 at Giant Eagle. I expected to pay more for quality but nearly double for a like item just blew my mind.
