Well visiting from Miami Beach the differences are huge. First of all it is just amazing to have a train that gets you out of the airport. In my case I went to dallas to visit friends. From DFW station to walnut station about 1.20 hr. My first impression once in the train was weird. I found this train like a moving dorm. A lot of homeless were sleeping inside of the train. They never get out. They dont use the train as a transportation. It is their room for hours. Back and forth. Also found trash everywhere. I was never asked to show my ticket. Never saw a security or police in the train or stations… This is not a train for women or families. It is taken over by homeless. Well this was my first impression of dallas!!

- Download the GOPASS app to buy the transport tickets, like $2 for TRE LINK BUS to centreport, which picks up at lower level around B48 (very end of the terminal). - The app will also say what time the bus comes, so you can head down a good 10 min prior and wait for it. - I went down at 5:53p and missed the first bus, next one came 6:33p. Much cheaper than an Uber. - Entrance to the railway is past the bus stop like past B49, there are clear signs to get there

We did not take the train or shuttle so this review is only on Terminal B. Layout is a simple horse shoe rather than a number of randomly intersecting straightaways, so it’s easy to understand where your gate is. Bathrooms were newly remodeled with electronic display of number of open “units”. See pic. Information kiosks are scattered about. See pic. Several good barbecue restaurants.

One of my favorite stations. Pretty simple... It's a starting /end of line station. TEXRail-DFW. I use this station as as a DART connection, which is a simple 3-4min walk down the pathway. Every time I come to catch the train out of Dallas back to Fort Worth .. 2 or 3 times a week, there's always a train ready to board. Now, if 1 just left, you will be waiting 30min for it to go. This is nice because if it's hot or cold, you can keep comfortable. Sometimes a train will be out of service for routine cleaning, etc, so you will have to wait on the next track... That train is scheduled to leave within a few minutes of it arriving. Sometimes a conducter is nice enough to let you stay only in the front car until the next train comes if the weather is bad. Also, the last trains of the day only go to mercantile Center Station and they will tell you that over & over again even though you know the schedule and that's where you normally get off anyway lol. Texrail will always ask you for your ticket which help it also feel safer & keep trains clean. I really love riding TexRail to work. Great time to relax and decompress VS...

Nice train, great price, frequent enough during normal hours. Only gripe, and it’s with the airport, not TexRail, is that they don’t make it easy to get to the station. Inside security (where you arrive at Terminal B using SkyLink), there is zero signage for the train station. Zero. Even if you have a pretty good idea where it is, it’s a convoluted path to get there. Intuitively, you’d go to north end of terminal, near Gate 49, and proceed from there. But, no, you must go the opposite way, to first baggage claim at Gate 29. Near the middle of the terminal. Then, outside security, if you look closely enough, you’ll spot some signage pointing to, you guessed it, Gate 49 and beyond. And then it’s still twice the hike you just took. This is not a beef about having to walk more than a few steps, though that could be a problem for some people. Just seems like DFW Airport is treating rail service, for their own passengers, mind you, as an illegitimate stepchild. Pretty disappointing. But worth it once you...
