Came in with literally ten minutes before close, three small children behind me and zero idea what I was creating. Hadn’t even come up with a game plan but shot over to this store hoping what I would be able to find would point me in some sort of direction. All my decorations were considered out of season so I told the lady that asked if she could help that I will really just take anything I could make work for this cake that was needing to be started and completed by morning. She seriously puts the creative in creative cakes! Between my daughter, her and me, we were able to run about the store and find anything that resembled Halloween (theme was Addams family) and BEFORE the ten minutes were up. She even threw in a suggestion for how she’d do the drip, which I followed to boot! I didn’t catch her name but if she sees this, she’ll know my chaos and remember us. I just wanted yo say thank you, I loved your store before and I do even more so now. I never would’ve been able to create that cake without you and the recipient was floored with how it turned out with no time or direction. I don’t bake often but once I was feeling bold enough to make an intricate cake for my bestie’s birthday. My knowledge of cakes and cake decorating were purely from Food Network baking shows. I didn’t even use boxed cake mix, people! I came here for supplies but mostly guidance since I didn’t know what on earth I was doing. Not only was everything here that I needed, but the staff was so great and encouraging and made me feel like I could actually undertake this freaking cake. The cake turned out NOT BAD! I mean, I have some work to do, but it Willis NOT have looked (or tasted) the way it did without the guidance and supplies I got from Creative Cake Supplies.
