This is a review for the new 2850 County Road N, Green Bay, WI 54311 location. All photos and events took place 12/14/2023.

I want to first start off by saying, I will definitely be back here again. There aren’t many Mexican restaurants close by to where I live, and I personally was very pleased with my dish. Looking forward to the desserts I will soon by trying, as they have many that look so delicious!

Now, on to the actual review. Not bad for a newly opened location. The whole experience took about an hour, a little more. There’s plenty of parking and space. The restaurant looks nice and clean as well.

Service: the waiter was friendly, but had come to our table 4 times to discuss drinks. As the first time we had asked about merlot (it’s on the menu) and they didn’t have it. Another red wine was then asked as well. Then had to come back two more times to discuss a vodka lemonade. Again, the waiter was very friendly. And they were definitely trying their best.

Food: The Texas fajitas with steak, chicken, and shrimp were delicious. It came with a side of lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, rice, and beans. The rice and beans are okay. A little watery/tasteless. Better than having no rice and beans. The cheese dip was very delicious. Highly recommend. The guacamole was very good. Highly recommend. The salsa is spicy! But also very good if you like spice. Taquitos Mexicanos were very greasy. The chicken and beef were very tasty though. Ended up taking them out of the deep fried shell. Beef and Cheese quesadillas were tasty. What you’d expect from a basic quesadilla. Queso Fundito was good too.

Some recommendations for the business: Make sure someone is at the front to greet people. If no one is going to stay there full time, I definitely recommend adding a sign that says something along the lines of “please wait to be seated.” Servers, let guests know that some items aren’t available due to the fact that you’re a recently opened establishment. Patrons are more likely to understand if told upfront. Get your menu online! The website was down. This will stop people from going. So many menu options that can be a little overwhelming, I recommend lowering it a little. For example, the fajita section could say “fajitas. Meat options: chicken, beef, shrimp” and get rid of an entire page that’s unnecessary. Also recommend leaving a drink menu to sit at the table? Or atleast make sure to hand it out right away. ALSO: we love napkins being available. My family has allergy’s that make our nose run. I’d recommend having extra available at the...

Trying to find the best chips and salsa, lime margarita and steak and chicken taco in the Green Bay area. Each is rated on a scale of 1-5.

Taco Tour stop #21 (west side location)

Chips and Salsa - Chips were warm and thinner than what we have had at other restaurants. No salt on the chips. The salsa here was different than the east side location and waaaaay better. They provided Mexican ranch with the chips and salsa here too, which was definitely better than the east side location - 3

Lime margarita on the rocks (Texas margarita) - this thing is huge and there is still a size bigger 😳. On Fridays it Is the same price as a medium margarita. The best part is that it is a really good margarita and worth coming here just for it - 5

Steak Taco: Flavor: 2 Fullness: 3 (full of onions and cilantro) Appearance: 3

The meat had almost no flavor

Chicken Taco Flavor: 4 Fullness: 2 Appearance: 2

Service - The server did a good job on suggesting the texas size margarita and asking if the chicken taco wanted to be shredded or grilled. But the order was made incorrectly. The chicken taco was asked to have cheese and sour cream and he said just cheese, which he was corrected, and still brought it out with just cheese. My taco i requested, as always, with onions and avocado and say no cilantro. He repeated it back correctly. When it came out it was cilantro and avocado. When i meantioned that it was supposed to be onions and avocado the server said no i said cilantro and avocado. The taco was remade and when it came back it was charred meat and oily - 2

Two steak tacos, one chicken taco, one jarritos, one soda and one Texas side margarita $29.38

this restaurant has gone completely downhill and tonight was the last straw for us. we arrived at 730 and has 3 people in our party. There were only 3 other tables besides ours. Once we got sat we wait 10 minutes before anyone came over and asked for our drink orders. and then we waited another 10 minutes for your drinks. Our server came over and we placed out order. We even asked questions about the menu items and she wrote our orders down.. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrées. The appetizers arrived 30 minutes later and the guacamole was so salty and sour from lime juice that we send it back. After awaiting another 20 to 30 minutes and watching another table get their food we finally asked where our food was. This is one our waitress informed us that she never put our entraising. And instead of taking responsibility she place the blame on us like it was our fault that she didn't do her job. She even went as far as asking us if we ever worked as a server, which we all have, and told us that we should understand that her job is hard. Maybe if it was busy I would have been more understanding but there were literally only only 4 tables total in the restaurant. How do you forget to do the basic requirements of your job? After we paid the bill she came back to our table and and kept trying to blame us and told us never to come back again. That won't be a problem because we won't be...

Server was really nice, took our order promptly but once we got our food took a while to check on us. Didn’t see the server until we were almost done with our food and wanted to ask him to get some salsa. After we got our bill we saw we were charged for the salsa which seems a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant since most of the food is often paired with salsa on top. The prices aren’t too bad and the food was alright, better than other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in the area. Wasn’t a fan of the beans at all and also disappointed the dishes were all served with only three tortillas. Overall a pretty average experience, the only positive was the size of the piña colada (a good deal for the size).
