This place is a whole vibe. I split my time between visiting family and friends in Green Bay coming from Boston, and let me tell you this spot would hold its own anywhere. Boston might talk a big game, but the Bambu in Green Bay is where the magic’s at. The employees are the kind of people who make you feel like your at the Cheers bar in Boston "Where everybody knows your name"...and your order!

The drinks are next level. The avocado smoothie is ridiculously creamy and that potassium helps after a long night of "celebrations", the Yonami (strawberry yogurt drink)is bright and refreshing, and the waffles are crispy and chewy perfection. It’s the kind of treat that makes you pause mid-bite and go, “Wait... why is this so good." WARNING: Your family will be mad that you did not get to have any of the waffles as you ate it all on the drive back home”

Pro Tip: They make a limited amount of croissant Banh Mi (sandwiches) on the weekends with thick cuts of smoked meats that will leave you in disbelief of why your friends have been gatekeeping you from getting...

The food was here is delicious, and the drinks are creative and fun to try. The staff are extremely friendly, and the interior is very cute and inviting.

However, there's one major issue that really detracts from the overall experience: each time I've been here, there's been an R/PG 13-rated, dystopian movie playing on a giant TV screen with surround sound. This atmosphere completely clashes with the otherwise delightful ambiance of the rest of the restaurant. The vibe of enjoying tasty xiao long bao and unique boba drinks is seriously disrupted by the intense and sometimes inappropriate movie content. This place has immense potential, and I truly believe that switching the entertainment to something more fitting, like upbeat music, would make the dining experience so much better.
