Fitz's Fish Ponds — Local services in Green Brook Township

We had Fitz's Fish Ponds come out and do a complete redo on a leaky, unattractive, unstable pond that's liner would float up and crowd our fish. Tim, Brian, and every one of the guys who worked on our pond were beyond careful, neat and respectful of our yard and our fish who had already been through so much. I can't even believe all that they did to transfer the fish, dig and design the most magnificent, natural, healthy pond I could have ever imagined. We are so in love with our new pond and what it has added to our home. It's so beautiful, the fish can hide and feel safe, they are even taking food from our hands and thriving. The water is crystal clear and we feel as if we are living at a resort. We can see the waterfalls (yes, multiple waterfalls!) from inside our home and anywhere in the back yard. They were so helpful and obviously the highest level professionals. We had no idea all of the work involved. We were totally blown away. If you have the chance to work with Fitz's Fish Ponds, you will be amazed and so happy you did. We absolutely love them!! FOLLOW UP 9/22: Just had my skimmer pump fail while under warranty from Fitz's. They were incredibly responsive and came out right away with a new pump. My waterfall has never looked and run so beautifully. The technician, Rick, was prepared, professional, carried a mask, brought the new pump and had others if needed and was so neat and efficient. Spring of 2020 I did a koi pond build with the help of some professional landscape friends. The pond was bigger and better than I ever had before. It was to be my last pond build. I was happy at first until I saw what kind of koi ponds the FFP family was building. Needless to say my family and I did our homework and decided to do it the right way and have the FFP family, make my dream pond come true.

We had a few meetings with the owner/operator Brian Fitzsimmons and I knew from the first day that he was my guy. He had his salesman Tim meet me at my house to go over what I expected to be done.

We agreed on the build and in May of 2021 my dream dedicated koi pond was constructed even better than I could imagine. It was done in a professional manner and some how completed in the time frame giving to me.

The pond meant more to me and my family, because not only is it a retirement gift to me, but more importantly it is a dedication to a family member that passed away in 2020. Now because of the amazing job that the FFP crew did. I know have the best koi pond ever and it makes our backyard oasis, feel like we are on an island resort 😎. We just finally had a pond revealing and dedication on July 24, 2021 and all of our guests couldn't believe how beautiful the pond looked.

Five-Star Experience with Fitz's – Above and Beyond Service

I’ve always maintained my pond myself, usually spending an entire Saturday taking shortcuts that never quite got me the results I wanted. One day, I happened to see a Fitz’s truck driving through my neighborhood, and on a whim, I decided to check out their services. That turned out to be an incredibly lucky day.

I scheduled a full pond cleaning for May 19th, and the price was more than reasonable considering everything included. They were going to handle all the things I would have done—if only I had the time.

Abraham and Brett arrived at 10:45 a.m. and worked until about 5 p.m. They removed all the fish and kept them safe in side tanks filled with the existing pond water. They power-washed the rocks, re-secured the loose ones, refilled the pond, and gently reintroduced the fish. When they were done, the pond looked brand new—honestly, better than I could have ever done myself.

Abraham and Brett were professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and even gave us helpful suggestions for maintaining the pond better. Their attention to detail over six hours completely transformed the space.

Communications with Tyler and Hope in the office were just as great—keeping me informed every step of the way before the appointment.
