my daughter surprise me with two sandwiches from Costcoâs food court. One was the hot turkey sandwich and the other the calzone. The first time I had the hot turkey sandwich I liked it, but it just didnât feel like it had enough spice to it for flavor, so my daughter returned the second one to me last night I added some miracle, whip, and a bunch of jalapeños that I had dried into the sandwich and oh my goodness I was in heaven just the miracle whip or mayonnaise whatever you prefer, and the jalapeños added enough taste to it that this thing was out of this world, and I would eat this sandwich once a week for the rest of my life. But then my daughter gave me the forbidden calzone you can look at the ingredients yourself, but the one ingredient thatâs in it is green pepper. I am the only person in our family that likes green pepper in food and when I just sat down now for lunch with this reheated calzone in which you cook it for 15 minutes on parchment paper and the oven preheated to 375° again for 10 to 15 minutes I said 15 minutes and let it sit for a couple. I didnât have to add anything to this calzone. It is absolutely mind-boggling delicious with the meats and cheese and tomato sauce and and the peppers I mean, this is unbelievable if you can see them by the picture before I bid in Costco has out done itself. I love the rotisserie chicken, but this is a great substitute for the deluxe pizza. They used to sell that theyâll no longer sell, which broke my heart, but this calzone easily replaces that and it is an absolute delight. When my daughter was in Line last night to get the sandwiches, she decided to get several and sure enough all of a sudden people started running up and getting as many as they could before they left the store this sandwich. Both of them are the best on the market enjoy and I want you to a racist review. Get rid of it. Never look at it again because I want all those calzones and turkey sandwiches for me and not for you so there
I just found out that Costco just started the sandwich two days before this review so probably Iâm the first to reveal this absolutely delicious delight. So to my 8 million viewers go to any Costco that you want to get the calzone but do not go to the green Oak Township Costco near Brighton because thatâs my territory. I claim all the calzones for me and you canât have any there, but if you venture to any other Costco the hot turkey sandwich and the calzone with all itâs delightful meats and cheeses and veggies is an absolute delight and be my guest. Love to...
Read moreThe optical department is usually very friendly I have been getting my glasses here for years since the price is great and they have a great selection. But when I went yesterday it was a terrible we were helped by a older man that had thick black rip glasses and greyish hair.I would put his name but he had a blank name tag.I went there to get new frames and lenses I had gotten my eye exam there already.I found the frames that I wanted and I knew I wanted Polycarbonate lenses.I was ready to purchase them when I had a few questions for the man.How long would it take on average to get my glasses in (since I am leaving for Maui in 9 day for a funeral)he said we usually say ten days but it can take 5-10-15 I don't know.Next I ask could they send them to a different Costco the one in Maui.He responded why would you want them sent there. Then before I could answer he said nope we don't send glasses anywhere.I asked would about if I pay extra for a quick turn around or for shipping he said NO I already said we don't do that. Then he said are you sure you can afford the glasses after being completely insulted I asked can I speak to a manager. He replied WHY?I replied can I please speak with a manager he then replied if you can find one then I asked if he could contact one to come to the optical department then he said nope you can go find them.So I then found a manager and asked my same questions and he was more than helpful he said they usually get here with in 7 days. Also they said that if you wanted us to call Hawaii optical to see if they have the frames I wanted and they could send over the prescription so I said that would be great. Then I told them about my complaints about the man at the optical they said I am sorry that happened and that it wont happen again and that he was a part time employee only working here for part time during the holiday season..ALL THE OTHER TIMES I WENT THERE THE OPTICAL DEPARTMENT WAS VERY FRIENDLY USUALLY A YOUNGER WOMAN IS THERE THAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND IS VERY HELPFUL WE BELIEVE THIS WAS A RARE THING LIKE THE MANAGER SAID THAT HE IS ONLY HERE PART TIME AROUND THE HOLIDAYS.(WE WILL BE GOING BACK THERE JUST MAKING SURE WE AREN'T HELPED...
Read moreMade the mistake of buying a Groupon for membership. Spent 45 minutes at the service counter getting up-sold on packages and credit cards. This process actually took so long to complete to even buy the membership that I couldn't even shop that day I was running late. The best part is in this 45 minutes the rep put my email in wrong which caused my Groupon benefits (Shop Card and coupon code) to go to the wrong address. When I contacted customer service they stated they would correct and resend. I received the coupon code but no shop card. Contacted customer service again and was advised it can take up to 48 hours. I waited patiently and that 48 hours ran out, which I read every email in my inbox, trash and spam to verify it wasn't getting lost. I again contacted the rep via her direct email she sent me and received no response, then decided to try chat waited 7 minutes to be told I had to call. Called and just cancelled the membership, all while the lovely sarcastic rep was quick to blame everything on Groupon stating they have my email incorrect. I receive 30+ emails a day from Groupon I doubt that. At no point did anyone just say let me get that shop card for you, instead it was the blame game and finger pointing. Which in all this I did contact Groupon and they blamed Costco, so who knows where the breakdown was but I had made plans to buy my vacation supplies from Costco which those cards and that has went...
