Pita Way - Brighton Mediterranean — Restaurant in Green Oak Charter Township

This place is awesome! The food is incredible! At the beginning of ordering, you let staff know if you would like your pita sandwich style or quesadilla style. I always go with the sandwich. You then have choices of several Meats. After that, there are nearly two dozen toppings to add. Everything from feta to pickled radishes to hummus to tabouli. Since I was unfamiliar with a few of the toppings, the owner, who happened to be in that day, had me try them out. And I found a few new favorites :-)

The staff is always friendly, and they all seem knowledgeable about the menu options. When I inquired about their feta, wishing to know whether or not it was pasteurized, they didn't hesitate to go in back and check for me. I love that in employees anywhere - taking the initiative to find an answer when they don't know. Nothing irks me more than an employee simply stating, "I don't know," and then standing around. That has never been the case here!

The food is delicious! The quality is outstanding. And at the price??? It can't be beat! Virtually all of their menu items are under $10, and portions are more than generous.

I must say, The Baklava is also quite tasty!

The one and only complaint I have about Pita way is their hours of operation. It seems that they are always closed around 8 p.m.? Which, unfortunately means for me, by the time I get home from work, they're closed. Other than that, this...

Let me start this review of by saying Pita Way has NEVER let me down and is one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. Always consistently great and tasty. But what truly prompted this review was one individual. Karl (who made sure to let me know it was with a K so I could properly shout him out) provided the single most pleasant and positive experience we've EVER had at ANY restaurant anywhere. My wife and I stopped in for lunch in between our kids basketball games and from the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left, Karl welcomed us in like we were family. We had both eaten there many times before, but Karl made sure to offer us suggestions and anything and everything to make sure we were getting the most out of our meal and our selections. I cannot say enough great things about the professional, friendly and overall great service and experience we had with Karl and the Pita Way in Brighton. The thing is, he wasn't that way with just us. He was that way with every single person that walked in while we ate our lunch. Whether they were picking up an online order, dining in or taking it to go, it was 100% consistent across the board. We look forward to returning again soon and can only hope Karl is...

I LOVE this place!!! I discovered it when I saw their ad in the Monthly Shopper several months ago. There were 2 coupons so I definitely wanted to try it out. I went to the New Hudson location with a friend. It was like no other Middle Eastern restaurant we had ever been to! Everything is Fresh! You get to create your own pita with the ingredients you love! AND there are so many to choose from! The pitas are HUGE! Neither one of us thought we could possibly eat the entire pita BUT it was sooo delicious we could not stop! No leftovers to take home on this trip. Before we left we chatted with the owner who gets a 10 in customer service. As we were leaving he stopped us because he wanted to give each of us a small container of his special rice dish to take home! Wow! I wish I knew what it was called because it was AMAZING!
