Updated to add, in her photos she posts, she edits the skin around the nails by smoothing and color correcting. You wouldn’t know by looking at the photos that her clients skin is so raw at the end of their appointment.

Please take the time to read, as the Salon itself is great. This review is in regards to a nail tech. If I had a way to review her individually I would, but I don’t. I’ll start to say I hate to write negative reviews and it takes a lot for me to do so. The nail tech came highly recommended, so I’m still a little shocked that my experience doesn’t align with the recommendations. This is by far the most painful nail experience I’ve had. She was not careful with the drill or file, and drilled/filed the skin around my nails consistently. It’s been over a week and I still have scabs on four of my fingers, it was six fingers originally. While she was painting my nails, I watched her picked at the already cured polish because it wasn’t done neatly, and when the polish lifted, she just patted it back down. As a result when I got in my car, the polish was already chipping. On two nails. On my pinky nail, I showed her while she was still doing my nails that it had started chipping. She said she would fix it and then didn’t. When booking the appointment she got me to book by confidently stating she could do the design I wanted, but when I got there, she told me how hard it would be and acted as though it was an inconvenience for her. So I agreed to choose something else, and even choosing something else, what she did didn’t even remotely match the inspo picture. I was very understanding and kept saying I don’t expect perfection, but that bit me in the butt. Giving them two stars because it was easy to making the appointment and they was no delay when we arrived for the appointment. Although they did call me every other day until the day of my appointment to make sure that I'm still coming. Only thing negative, and most important thing, I have to say is that my stylist did not know how to style hair. My appointment was for an updo for my wedding. On the day of, I request for an half up and half down with to top teased and the rest curled down. I even showed her a photo. I also informed her that my hair is very hard to curl and that I usually have to use freeze spray to keep it curly. My hair ended up flat because she didn't know how to tease my hair, there was one huge bulge on one side of my head because she did a weird twist and pin, and my hair didn't stay curled for no more than 20 mins after I left the salon. I would not blame the humidity because right after I left the salon, I went a few store down to buy shoes and notice my hair flat within 20 mins. Very disappointed. I could have done a better job myself but thought that I should try a professional. I regret my decision going there and I will always regret it when I see my hair in my wedding photos. I booked a facial with Jena and what a treat for myself! I’ve never had a facial before so I was not sure what to expect but what a first class treatment it was all the way. Jena was beyond knowledge about all trouble spots on my skin and her application of products was dreamy. I’ve always struggled with acne and oily skin but Jena knew right away what to apply to help my troublesome spots I could tell a difference as soon as my facial was done! She even took extra time after my appointment to make sure she was able to empty and extract all of my pores to ensure a completely satisfactory experience. When I got home my boyfriend even told me my skin looked “glowy” and he barely notices any changes I do in my beauty routine! As a healthcare worker during the pandemic I was beyond pleased with the safety measurements and protocols Jena followed to ensure I was given the best quality facial while staying safe. I planned on doing a facial one time to see what all the talk about was but booked another appointment immediately upon cashing out! No one cares about your skin more than you do, unless it’s Jena!
