LOFT — Local services in Green Oak Charter Township

I can’t even believe the experience I just had at this Loft location in Brighton, MI with I believe to be the store manager. She was wicked from the start before I share my awful experience I had let me tell you The Loft is my favorite clothes store to shop at I spend a good amount of money at this store and I’m a credit card holder. Today I was planning to get some new stuff for my job I am also a retail manager at a store in Novi and I needed to refresh my clothes. For Christmas I was gifted 2 pairs of pants in size 8 from the Loft. One of the pairs I tried on and took the tags off after 10 min of wearing them they were too big and they weren’t going to work. I haven’t been able to make it out here bc I have been putting in 60 hours today is the first day I come and I came to Brighton specifically because they always have the best stuff. I walk in I explain to the lady that I have 2 pairs of pants I need to EXCHANGE right away she said if I don’t have a tag or a receipt I can’t exchange it. She said I could for the pair that had the tag still but not the other pair bc I did not have the receipt or the tag. I asked her if she happened to have the pants in the store she would then have a scu and she said before even looked no it has to be the same size and go figure she did have the pants but not in my size. She again told me the pants were considered worn and she wouldn’t exchange them even though I told her I didn’t wear them she didn’t care. I told her that her customer service sucked and that she wasn’t willing to help me she told me to leave her store and that she would be contacting her DISTRICT MANAGER to let that person know I was harassing them. Unbelievable. I called the Novi store and they have absolutely no problem taking both pairs of my pants for an exchange. So now that I just left Novi to go to Brighton I will now go back to Novi to make my exchange. I will never be back to this location thanks a lot....
