Yesterday we visited this Arron's Corporate Store. We normally go to the Newport, TN store. The stereo we wanted was not in stock in Newport. My GF's stereo stopped working last week. Her relaxation comes from chilling out and listening to her stereo. We found the one she wanted at the Greenville Arron's. We informed the store manager we had an account in Newport. She said go back to Newport and have them order it for you. Of course I stated why can't you sell us this one. She said "It's to much trouble ." Yes my GF got upset said something she shouldn't have but she has had a bad week and she was fustrated and disappointed she could not take it home. It was no problem for the Jefferson City store to order it. I thought the store job was to sell items not turn cash money away. Even if you have to do extra paperwork. My GF has a zero balance at Newport so starting a new account should of never been an issue. I feel this lady is not fit to run a weekend store. She closed the store for 45 minutes to take lunch. With in three months the couch started to rip at the seems. When. I called I was met with a rude employee stating wear and tear isn’t covered even though I had just purchased it. I got tired of arguing about it and just dealt with the rips. I still paid my lease on time every month. The couch is so terribly put together that now the entire frame is broken to the point you’re basically sitting on the ground. Realized that we don't use enough and returned it per instructions of staff member. Manager gets huffy about returning stating you rent it with the intention to own it and he wants to collect half months payment on it before I return it. Now said manager won't take it off our account until we pay half payment. Even their website says that ownership is optional, hence "renting" with option to own.
