Earlier today, my boyfriend and I took our lunch break to this establishment. We started out very happily and left just the same to go back to our workplace and eat our food. A thing to mention is that my boyfriend has some rather severe allergies particularly to egg and dairy products. He ordered two beef supreme burritos with no cheese or sour cream and told the cashier that this was due to allergies. We were sitting in his vehicle eating, when he tells me his mouth is hurting and he starts looking at his burrito and finds pieces of cheese in it. Then he checked his other burrito to see if it had been a small mistake to see a handful of cheese. At this point in time I'd eaten a small portion of my food as well. He was having an allergic reaction, so I put down my food, ran into the store that we work at and bought benadryl in liquid form so he could try to wash down the cheese and flush it through his system. At this point I call this establishment to inform them of this error. Then I had to inform our supervisor about what had happened and get my boyfriend water to continue helping him flush the allergen through his system. Our supervisor then told him to take whatever time that he needed to be able to get back to work. I wasn't about to leave his side as he was experiencing an allergic reaction. This therefore cost each of us a fraction of our work time. Now that I have explained all of this there is are few points to be made. This establishment didn't care enough about their customers to make sure that their customers received the correct attention when it comes to something as important as allergies in a food industry. Calling the establishment and trying to rectify the situation resulted in a somewhat agreeable response. (Thank you manager that I first talked to. You were very helpful and understanding.) However, the ending reaction of how all of this played after coming back when my boyfriend and my shift was over is what leads me to this review. We returned to get a refund of our money, as neither of us had gotten to really eat as a factor of the earlier situation, to only receive half of the full meals price. Now the full meal was $16 and some odd cents, however the returned amount was $8 and some change. I would have been appeased if they had just returned the full amount of the meal, not counting the factor of having to buy benadryl, and an extra water, as well as time lost from work. However, informing the community about the situation that occurred that has led to this story is something that is needed, as neither my boyfriend, nor myself feel safe accepting food from this...
Read moreThe Greeneville Taco Bell used to be our favorite taco bell to go to to eat. But the last several times we've been there, they have done such a sorry job of making your food the way it's supposed to be. The nachos bellgrande is what I always get. They used to be fixed right but now tonight and the last several times......instead of chips that you can scoop up a little of one of the toppings with, theres like a pile of little pieces of chips like theyve been crushed up. And the "bellgrande" part used to be a generous portion of meat, beans, sour cream, tomatoes and green onions. Now....youre lucky if you get a small teaspoon full of meat and sour cream and MAYBE five lttle chips of tomatoes and no green onions but yes a generous portion of the beans.....the cheapest ingredient for Taco Bell to buy. You guys go way up on the price to buy these items but do not give the customers what they pay for. You guys keep that junk up and you'll end up closing stores because your customers that have been so loyal and devoted to you are going elsewhere to get what they pay for. Honestly, I have noticed that the long lines in the drive thru that you used to see have diminshed drastically and the dining room is always dead. What does...
Read moreGood luck if you’re missing food because you will not get your food remade or a refund. Spoke to a “manager” named Ryligh. And I put “manager” because she is definitely not a manager I’d ever want if I owned a restaurant. I explained we were missing half of our food and that I would like it remade or a refund as I do live 30 minutes away and that was something she couldn’t offer me. She then handed the phone to an employee that was not the manger after saying some very choice words to him as if I couldn’t hear her. Once he was on the phone I explained the situation again and he told me there was no general manager there or anyone that could fix the mistake . Than made I asked if there was a manger and he replied yes and I asked if I could speak to the manager and he told me that the manager handed him the phone I asked to speak to her again and yet again the phone gets sat down they say some very choice words and she’s back with there’s nothing I can do. Very unprofessional and very rude. I will never eat here again and I warn you if you’re missing food and you speak to Ryligh good luck. Update another manager by the name of Amber contacted me directly and made things right and was extremely nice and very...
