Just left this restaurant after searching for a few minutes for the exact location within revolution mill. I heard about this restaurant through buy black guide. I have to say I left completely disappointed. I wanted the Jerk chicken panini. They were out of everything that was meat based except Turkey. I can get a turkey sandwich anywhere. So, that was the 1st real disappointment. The second was the smoothie I ordered. I asked the young lady what exactly the ingredients were inside the island green smoothie since they were not listed. She went on to say pineapple, mango and spinach. I got immediately excited since I make the same smoothie at home consistently. I placed my order and after about 5 minutes I received my drink. As soon I tasted the smoothie it had a strong orange flavor to it. I went back to the counter to ask if there were oranges in the smoothie. She replied, “we use orange juice in the smoothie”. I explained that I have acid reflux and can’t have orange juice, which is why I asked about the ingredients. Her reply was simply, “ I am sorry”. No can I make you another one. Would you like a refund. Nothing was stated that rectified the situation. I turned around and left. I dispose the $9 smoothie in the trash. However, now my acid reflux is triggered. I am fortunate to only have acid reflux issues. Some people actually have true allergies and medical conditions that can truly trigger a medical emergency . They need to take their craft more seriously and implement more customer...

I love Peace of Her by Lou. It’s a great black owned establishment that is untouched. At any moment I can come in with my laptop and work all day or a few hours and not be bothered. I can grab a fresh pressed juice, lunch (OMG, I LOVE the grilled cheese and salmon salad) or a smoothie. Everything she offers has an health benefit to it. Her menu also lists all Ingredients of everything that is offered for those with allergies or other health problems are aware. I also love how she has other small businesses featured in her shop. I’ve had the opportunity meet Lou and she’s very personable and all about customer service, along with her employees. They always strive to offer their best. The name of this business “Peace of Her by Lou” literally speaks for itself the moment you walk into the shop. The aesthetics along with the playlist of tunes and welcoming staff gives the atmosphere a calm, relaxing, peaceful vibe. Being on a fit/healthy journey it’s not many places that offer a variety of healthy options. EVERYTHING IS FRESH AND TASTE AMAZING !! The smoothies, smoothie bowls which is one of my favorites, juices and food literally is unmatched. If you’re lucky you can also catch the owner some days with meal preps.
