Took my Peavey 1000 watt system in for a warranty repair. It sat in his shop for months. After a full year I complained to Peavey corporate. Then he finally sends it off to them. After 2 or 3 months, he calls and it is back. I called and emailed several times trying to set a time for pick up as I am 2 hours out and never got a response. I did take a month to pick it up as I was out of state when it came back, then the 4th of July week, they never replied to a call or email. Finally I get someone to answer the phone and I arrange to pick it up. I wanted confirmation that someone would be there because several times during this year I went by during their hours and they were closed. We drive to greensboro to find he has lost the Speak ON cables I left with him for troubleshooting and he charges me for shipping the unit, which is a cost Peavey should have covered. Read moreI just can't recommend this shop. I took my Fantom X6 in as it was presenting sound issues and got it back with the same problems after they said it was fixed. I was charged $145. I took it back as they have a 30 day guarantee and after they checked it again I was told I needed to buy a part which cost me another $175. Then it took forever to get my keyboard back I had to keep messaging them about it. After more than a month I finally got it back and still has the same sound problems. I show up not knowing what to expect, and was immediately taken care of, the amount of care and attention Wes put into the repair was amazing. He didn't have to do half of what he did, but he went the extra mile just to be helpful. On top of all that he even showed me some pointers and gave me some very useful information only a tech would know! Needless to say I've found my new tech for future jobs.
