During Labor Day weekend, my husband and I had an exceptional experience at Mattress Firm on Lawndale. We were assisted by Ian, a knowledgeable sales representative who clearly understood our needs as we searched for a new mattress. He took the time to provide in-depth information about different mattress types, including their materials, firmness levels, and the benefits they offered. Ian was not only informative but also dedicated to ensuring we received the best possible price for the mattress we ultimately chose.
After making our purchase, we realized about a month later that the mattress we selected was not the best fit for our comfort preferences—it was too firm for our liking. Thankfully, Mattress Firm has a flexible return policy, allowing customers 120 days to return their mattress if they aren’t satisfied. Recognizing this opportunity, we returned to the store to explore our options. Ian was once again incredibly accommodating. He welcomed us back and patiently guided us through various alternatives, understanding that we needed more time to find the perfect mattress. On one of our visits, after trying several options, Ian suggested a mattress that he personally recommended as his favorite. We appreciated his enthusiasm and decided to take our time to think it over. However, the more we thought about it, the more it appealed to us.
Ultimately, my husband decided to call Ian to finalize our decision and purchase the mattress. Ian’s exceptional service continued as he assisted us with pricing details and outlined the entire process of removing our old mattress and having the new one delivered.
We have now been sleeping on our new mattress for several days, and I can confidently say it has made a significant difference in our sleep quality. I feel more rested and comfortable than ever. Ian is the ONLY reason I ended up purchasing in store. What an absolute gem of a man! So knowledgeable, friendly and patient. This man followed me around while I napped on every mattress in the store. Never once showing impatience. He genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right mattress for me. He never tried to upsell me or push me to a more expensive product. Just offered his knowledge, expertise and skill to guide me and assist me in making the right purchase. I have been asleep since! The mattress is fantastic, the price was very very reasonable and the delivery service was fast, friendly and efficient. All around wonderful experience but Ian was the star! I reached out to Wes at the Lawndale store on April 22nd who was able to process my return and advised it would take 3 to 5 business days to get my return. On April 27th I contacted Will and he informed me that I needed to wait til the 29th. I called back on 29th was told by Wes my order was canceled but not sure why my refund was not processed. I called today and talk with Will and he tells me that the order was canceled except for the shipping. He has made sure that was canceled but He is not sure when my refund will be returned.
