This Target has definitely fallen off. We got there around 7:35 p.m. The floor was really dirty with something sticky extending from the registers all the way down the main aisle past the pharmacy. They are often out of stock; like nearly a whole empty cooler out! There was an ee blocking the aisle (stocking shelves) while he talked on the phone via his Bluetooth earbuds. My wife and I and two other separate customers stood there waiting for him to move his cart over so we could pass. He looked at us, continued stocking the shelves and talking on his phone. There were random misplaced item all over and oft times, the items are in the wrong place so your price is wrong when you pay...when you can FINALLY pay. They are so pressed to make you use self checkout that they simply will NOT open regular registers. We literally counted 5 employees over by customer service/Starbucks talking and laughing while the self checkout line extended past the registers (almost past the makeup to the greeting cards). This is about 8 pm. I tried to get a pic (attached) of the line and how far it reached. It takes an extra 10 minutes but the Target on New Garden is where we go now and we've never had these issues.

I stopped by here on Saturday around 5:30pm with my son to to get toys for a kids birthday party that we attended the next day. There is AMPLE toy options, which was wonderful. . That was easy. I also ended up getting a picture frame too. After getting the frame and toy, I stopped by tech area to see if they had PS5 controllers, which they did. I wanted a blue one and it was in stock! However, it was locked up, of course. I went to the main area with the registers for “tech” and there was no staff present. I walked around for a while waiting for someone to pop up. I wondered if they had a little button to press but didn’t see one. When someone did, she told me that she didn’t have a key and that I would have to wait for someone else… So I waited about 5 or so minutes and the guy came but was helping someone else, which took some time. I was able to get the controller after having patience and waiting. While checking out, I noticed that they did in fact have a button to call for assistance. I’m not sure how I missed it before. Nonetheless, I Checked out all my items there in the tech area. That was a breeze.

If I have to visit Target Lawndale location, just know it is an emergency. They are locking up regular products where you have to find an associate yourself in order to purchase. Lawndale and Wendover are the worst here in Greensboro. If you would like to shop peacefully within a clean organized establishment, head to New Garden! The drive is worth it. This location is always a hazardous mess! With trash absolutely everywhere, lack of organization, employees no where to be found. For management to be denying hundreds of applicants (I know many who have applied), this store should be spotless for consumers. I could not take it anymore tripping over clothing, so I drove to the New garden location. I’m so glad I did! Everything was stocked and cleaned. Found exactly what I was looking for. Do better Lawndale.

Just had to share my experience I've never been treated so poorly by store employees in my life.

I'm a female teenager, and me and my boyfriend went in to this Target location one night after eating at golden corral to kill time before my parents picked us up.

So we were just strolling thru the aisles browsing, when we noticed a a regular dressed man following us. Like alot, every corner we turned there he was. Every Time I looked back there he was.

Although I will admit this was not the best idea, after having been followed for about 20 mins by this guy I shipped out my cellphone and discreetly took a short 10 sec snapchat video of him following me. Because I didn't know if he was an employee or not, it was creepy.

We continued browsing and all the sudden we were approached by the man saying "If you don't delete that video you took of me I'll call the police and have them delete it" and was EXTREMELY rude and hostile from the get go. He said we had been following HIM? And harassing him and that it was illegal to record Target employees.

BUT WE COMPLIED, deleted the video and he informed us we were banned for the night (despite being cooperative).

We turned to walk out the door (as we were already right near the exit) and then he starts ESCORTING us right behind us as if we'd just been caught shoplifting. I'll admit this REALLY angered me, considering all in all we didn't REALLY do anything wrong other than record him and he was treating us like we were thieves or something. And I did tell him off a little, and gave him a piece of my mind as we walked out the door (which maybe I shouldn't have). But I didn't make a big scene I just made a few comments as I was being 'escorted out' and banned for the night for recording him.

THEN, TO TOP IT OFF, once we leave and are walking down the shopping strip off the target property. Then I turned my head and noticed this red car following us down the parking lot.

THIS PSYCHO (I assume he's the Loss Prevention Officer) left the store and was following us OUTSIDE IN HIS CAR AFTER WE COMPLIED AND LEFT AND DELETED THE VIDEO. And he was on his cellphone. And a few minutes later, 2 police officers showed up because apparently he called the police.

Respect the the cops that responded, they were SO nice and clearly understood our perspective. But the man in Target ended up banning us forever. (And he tried to imply he had caught us shoplifting there before that same week which was an outright lie)

I'm permanently banned from this store for recording someone who was following me, deleting it when asked, then left the store when asked, but because I made a few comments as I left I guess.

I would not recommend ever going to this Target Location unless you want to be harassed by their psycho Loss...

My recent visit to this Target was absolutely unacceptable and insulting. After being told that there were three of an item being sent to this store I came to the store early to wait in line for its release. I managed to be third in line, just barely making the cut. An employee came up to the group of us waiting in front of the store and stated once again that there were only three systems available. The store opened and we happily walked to the electronics section where we were informed that they only had one system available. After a number of us obviously disgruntled customers asked them to search for the full three systems guaranteed to us by multiple employees over the phone and in person they manage to scrounge up a second system from some mysterious backroom. I attempted to explain my frustration to them and offered them a solution that at least would cool my frustration, calling the long gone employee that had come to us and told us about the three systems to ask him if he misplaced a system or had simply been incorrect. That was all I wanted, some explanation for the lies. Instead they attempted to buy me off with a cheap 3 dollar apology gift card which in 20-god-damn-15 obviously buys nothing of value and is only a pathetic attempt to get me to buy something else that I did not wait in line since 6 in the morning for but with the equivalent of a pack of gum knocked off the price tag. After a minute or two of asking to speak to higher management or for the man in front of me to call this employee for some simple answers during which I never once raised my voice I was told that they were going to have someone escort me out of the building if I didn't buy something right then. I finally gave up, too utterly insulted and mistreated by the smug electronics manager and the other employee near him to stand to be in their presence for a single second longer. I left, and my blood is still boiling as I type this. I will never come back to this target. I would suggest that anyone reading this not go to this target but I know that obviously this will have little to no effect on your consideration. No one will read this, and in all honesty my situation was probably a unique occurrence. 99.9% of everyone that has ever been alive to visit a target and done so went in, grabbed what they needed, perhaps some even asked an employee where something was located, then left. But if you are EVER required to go to a target in ANY context that will require you to deal with these people for any longer than a few minutes I have to say avoid this place like the plague. They do not respond well to reasonable requests that go beyond typing in an item number into the computer and you leave with a beyond sour taste...

This has continually been the worst Target I have ever experienced! Not just this time, but many times in the past. I love Target but this store has always been an issue for many of us. Accidentally, when making an online purchase (for store pick up), the order changed my normal default location to this location (Lawndale Drive) (which I stopped going to long ago because of several customer service issues in the past, etc), and once again their customer service, was an issue. An item I was picking up was defective. I asked the women if she could go get me another as I am disabled and they had no working motorized scooters (which has always been the case at this store in the past as well and why I also stopped going to this location). She continued to help others, while keeping me standing there. The purpose of in store pick up is so that it is quick and convenient. I waited and waited and then had to ask the guy getting the outside carriages if he could possibly help or get someone who could. I also asked someone walking by me, and also a cashier, and I then finally had to ask for the store manager, who turns out to be, even worse. I tried to explain the situation. He said nothing. I explained that the item I purchased for pick up was defective and that i asked the customer service women if she (or if she could have someone else get me another replacement item). I think I explained myself clearly yet, he just stood there. I have never seen such poor customer service skills in my life. This is a manager? Someone with no social skills, no professionalism, and no customer service interaction to rectify an issue or to help their customers. He didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or even try to help, or even ask what the issue was. It's shocking and unacceptable. His name was Jake. How did he get a manager's job? Is it acceptable to treat your customers this way? I filed a complaint with their Guest Services Department as soon as I got home. UPDATE: a week later, I was called by another manager from the store. He was very nice and asked me what happened. He apologized for the situation that occurred and offered me a gift card, which I told him was...
