I just experienced the WORST customer service in my life. Our cashier, AMANDA was very rude. My family approached her line and she didn't even acknowledge us. She just kept sweeping around her station and sweeping around another station and didn't even say anything like "oh I'll be right with you guys or anything." And when she did finally come to the register, she didn't say hello or acknowledge us in any sort of way. She just started scanning and throwing items into the buggy. When my mom told her we had to waters in the buggy, she ignored her. Then when my mom told her again she still didn't say anything. When my mom told my sister and I that she wasn't going to transfer the waters into the other buggy, Amanda got an attitude and said " I didn't say you had to." My mom wasn't even talking to her. My sister spoke with the manager about her rude employee but she didn't care. There was no apology or anything. We walked out to the parking lot and after discussing the incident, I decided to get a full refund on the groceries. A Very nice cashier, Andrena, gave us a refund on the groceries and she apologized on behalf of the store. The manager didn't apologize; she wasn't even concerned. Amanda was being nice to the other customers when we walked back into the store to get the refund. I guess she doesn't like black people. My mother was having a good mother's day. That was my first and last time visiting Aldi on...
Read moreImagine shopping at Aldi and abruptly hearing "We close in 5 minutes".. then about 30 seconds later "We close in 3 minutes" and more mumbling about the closing of the store from employees. It was not a polite announcement, but an anxious one. I thought, "I didn't realize they were closing this urgently". I asked my wife to get in line with our daughter, and with about $160 in groceries to check out. Then I thought that while they were in line waiting, I'd grab some chocolate milk. Big mistake!
As I dared to venture towards the milk section, I already felt uneasy after hearing the tone from the militant employee announcing their closing time. About 30 seconds later I was abruptly approached at the milk section and told they were closed. Whew, That was a fast 5 minutes crammed into only about 2 minutes!
I considered that I was not the only one feeling uncomfortable in this store due to the way the staff did their job, during closing time. Another customer had already expressed to me (seeming irritated) that the earlier announcements sounded like some type of "game" to her.
Not only was the staff member at the milk section like a bully on a school playground, her timing was not accurate based on the anxious announcements. The #1 job Aldi staff might want to consider is the treatment of the customers in the store. Should customers at Aldi be marched to the checkout to wait in line, before they...
Read moreUsually very clean. Your inventory is inconsistent. And your prices are inconsistent. And your prices in the past month have skyrocketed! I only buy a few things from y'all now because that's all I can afford. I'm on disability and I have limited income. The last time I was there there was this huge cart of of meat waiting to be stocked in the refrigerated section, people couldn't even get in to be able to look at what was already there. I buy your your grass-fed organic ground meat. Could not find any of that or your chocolate hummus. People were unable to get the refrigerated section where the meat was because of that chewed cart of neat waiting to be put in the refrigerated section. That makes me wonder how long that meets at out there. I'm sure it was not kept cold enough and could possibly make people sick! The store is clean! And you need help like there's no tomorrow people were unable to get to the refrigerated section where the meat was because of that shoes cart of...
