My husband needed a belt. I went to 3 other stores in the area and no one had the size that he needed. I googled big and tall men's clothing and this store showed up and was less than 1 mile from where I was. My daughter and I went in and looked around for the belts. Everyone working appeared to be busy at the time so we were about to leave when a nice saleswoman asked if we needed help to which I asked if they carried belts. She showed us where they were. We found the size we needed and went to check out. A young salesman came up and asked if the belt was all and I said yes. He rang it up and provided the total of $64 and some change after which he looked at me and asked me if that was alright. I said "Yes. Why? Is there another price option?" His response was that "sometimes when people are given the total they change their mind." Of the many other stores I have been too, I don't recall ever being asked if my total owed was alright. I was in casual clothes and have a half sleeve of tats but am neat and clean......but obviously I must have somehow given the impression that I couldn't afford this belt. You may want to teach your staff not to assume anything of people based on their appearance because his snide pompus remarks were offensive. Not only can I afford the belt or anything else in your store I also am intellectually capable of clearly recognizing condescending remarks. Should we ever need another suit for my husband, we will be taking our...
Read moreWhen I first scheduled the fitting appointment there was no mention of what would need to be done to enter the information in the computer, such as a deposit or of how much. The wedding party showed up and were informed then they couldn't even try on anything. The groom returned without the wedding party just to pick out what he liked so he wouldn't have to do that with the entire wedding party waiting . The man told him it would be $40 to schedule a fitting, which I confirmed in wilm was not true. They went back after I scheduled the fitting two weeks prior to the wedding, were measured, fitted and deposits were made. One measured and the other wrote it down. NOT A SINGLE TUX FIT when they arrived to pick up the Wednesday prior to the wedding so they shipped the revised tux to wilm for pick up Friday . The two younger boys did not fit AGAIN and they said they'd arrive Saturday . The ONLY good thing I can say is that once they did arrive they looked very nice. In my opinion the professionalism is highly lacking and in an already stressful event they really added more stress than necessary. We certainly will never use them again or purchase any clothing . Beware what you are setting yourself up for when you do formal rentals with...
Read moreIn the past in a different city, it was a decent experience renting a tux from Mens Wearhouse. But this shop was poorly run. I went with my friend that is getting married and we wanted to look at options for what well be wearing to his wedding. When we asked the assosiat that was helping for samples and options to look through, she had nothing but attitude. My friend and his bride to be had not been to Mens Wearhouse before, and didn't know the options, selections, or how things worked, she never explained anything to them, but assumed that they knew everything about their store, so when they asked a question, she acted like they were stupid for not knowing. Luckily I've been there a few times so when she didn't give a clear awenser, I was able to explain what she left out. We were there for about 30 min, with her bringing out samples left and right, when I asked don't you have a book alwe can look through, she said, "Yeah, I guess you can look at that, could of asked for that sooner". I was kinda shocked but left it alone. My friend decided to call it a day, we left and went to koals and were able to buy nice suits that we can keep and have tailored for the same price they wanted to have us pay to rent. So it worked...
