We had heard nothing but great things about this restaurant and it couldn't be further from the truth.
I went here on a lunch date with my wife. We sat outside and I will have to say that the atmosphere was amazing, very well decorated. But that was where the greatness stopped. We started with calamari and bruschetta. Calamari is hard to mess up and they actuly didn't mess it up at all, the bruschetta was piled way to high with tomatoes which stole the flavor away from anything else. After I removed half of what they put on it wasn't too bad.
My wife ordered the lobster ravioli and I ordered the chicken parm. My wife recieved 4 lobster raviolis in a tomato bisque type of sauce, it was a bowl of soup with 4 raviolis in it, the flavor of the ravioli was completely undercut by the sauce, way too much sauce. After removing most of the sauce the raviolis weren't flavorful at all. The chicken on my plate was absolutely frozen before they gave it to me, the chicken was chewy, the breading was thicker than the actual cutlet, the sauce has absolutely no flavor, and the pasta was overcooked. Both my wife and I sent our plates back and left without ordering any more food.
The service wasn't that great either, my tea stayed empty a lot. After our food came out the waitress never checked on us to see how we liked it, so we sat there for a good 15 minutes with our plates pushed to the side talking about how horrible the food was.
If you have a craving for Italian food you would do better going to Olive Garden or Carabas...or maybe a frozen pasta meal from your local grocery store. We will never eat here...

Then is a great time to meet the author and get your book signed!I love this...
