I just made a visit to the clocks on Congaree Rd in Greenville, SC. I ordered a large fry, a large coleslaw, and a large cheeseburger. The woman in the front who claimed to be the manager packed all of the things that I ordered in a small bag that I have pictures of. When arriving to work getting out of the car, the bag burst and my food falls on the ground..EVERYTHING. Now leading up to this, I DID NOT sit my food on a wet car (as the "the owner" implied), I didn't stuff anything else in my bag, even if I wanted to, I couldn't because it was already overly packed. When trying to ask someone when calling if I could get a refund or they make me more food, the woman, "the manager", first stated that it was not clocks problem, as I continued to explain to her how it could not have been my fault, she began to yell at me and tell me because I added a few more packs of ketchup that, that was the reason why my bag busted (which is ridiculous). I then spoke to a man that claimed to be the owner of this establishment and he proceeded to tell me that he needed proof that the bag busted, he also said that their bag can hold up anything that weighs 6lbs, so it should not have busted. Then when explaining to "the owner" how I felt and that I would provide the proof, he hangs up on me. They made me feel like NOTHING, the manager yelled at me as if I was a child doing something wrong. The owner and the manager proceeded to basically tell me that it was my fault. I have pictures and I will be posting them on Google. Customer service is something they should specialize in. They did not provide any to me. No one apologized AT ALL and instead of feeling valued, they made me feel like a thief, a crook, a liar. I almost cried I was so upset. I will be sure to tell everyone about this experience. The woman there that took my call should not have been yelling at me the way she continued to while I was in such distress, which hurt my feelings terribly. Again, they made me feel like NOTHING. I will never spend my money there again. I will also be contacting the real owner and looking them up on the Better...
Read moreOne thing about me I can’t stand managers that get smart with customers when they are in the wrong . I came through drive through 4/25/25 around 11:30-12. I ordered two hotdogs all the way add mayo ( mayonnaise wasn’t ) on the hotdogs by the way and I ordered a small fried zucchini and got fries instead . I called back spoke with the manager. He replies back with I would have to basically bring back the small fries in order for them to be replaced. I told him I wasn’t on that side of town and that it would be an inconvenience. Never was offered a refund. I called back the 2nd time because my order was still wrong because it didn’t have mayonnaise on my hotdogs. Spoke to the same manager who began to be smart on the phone, and making comments like “we are human too and we make mistakes “ then proceeded to offer me a soft drink for my order being wrong . The fact that my whole order was wrong and then someone who’s in management begins to become facetious over the phone show’s lack of maturity and unprofessionalism. It also exacerbates the situation, with a customer who isn’t happy. I’m shocked and appalled at this behavior because I am a regular customer who comes frequently and usually don’t get this kinda treatment but I’ve not had to call them out on things wrong. This manager needs more training in customer service and just because you feel a certain way about a situation with a customer doesn’t mean you should vocalize it. The service...
Read morePulled into drive thru for a chili dog plate. Simple, right? Kid behind mic mumbles something about “no wiener.” I repeated the order, a chili dog plate. Again, some unintelligible comment involving the fact that there may NOT be a hot dog involved, here. I asked again for clarification, and was rudely informed that they DID apparently have some form of hot dog plate, that DID come with chili. Completely confused, I agreed to whatever I was being forced to order, and asked for a Diet Coke. Kid said, and I quote, “Nah. We don’t even have Coke products.” I politely cancelled my order, and tried to leave. Kid was hanging out of the drive thru, trying to get my attention. I explained that I shouldn’t need to argue to buy food, to which he replied, “I’m not trying to argue!” After successfully getting out of his way, I pulled into the next parking lot to call the manager, to explain what had just happened. The person claiming to be the manager was every bit as prickly as the drive thru attendant, and began trying to explain that they apparently have some form of “chili dog” on their menu that does NOT involve a hot dog. WHICH IS FINE. Just don’t be rude and evasive, while doing a terrible job of explaining this truly odd choice. And when customers call in to share a negative experience (politely), you may want to listen. I spent 35 years in foodservice, and this is NOT...
